User:TehPerson/Satchel
The satchel is an object in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, serving as the equivalent to the Bag in other games to store Items. It is only split into two pockets: Everyday Items and Key Items. The satchel is similar to the Bag prior to Generation IV, where there is a limit to the number of distinct items the player can hold in the Everyday Items pocket, up to 999 of each kind of item. If the player would obtain items that would cause them to exceed the space limit of their satchel, or have more than 999 of one kind, then they cannot obtain those items. If the player needs additional space to store items, they can move items into and out of their item storage, which can be accessed from Jubilife Village or at camps.
If the player blacks out, then they will lose several items from their satchel, leaving behind a Lost Satchel. If connected to the internet, other players can retrieve the player's Lost Satchel to return the lost items, while earning Merit Points (MP) for themselves.
Upgrades
Initially, the player's satchel can hold at most 20 distinct items. At Galaxy Hall, Bagin of the Security Corps can expand the player's capacity to hold one more item, in exchange for money. The fee Bagin charges increases each time, starting from 100 for the first upgrade, up to
1,000,000 for the 39th and final upgrade.
