In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Florges first appeared as a Flabébé in An X-cuse to Come Out and Play, where she waited outside of X's house alongside Trevor. In the next round, Flabébé fled Vaniville Town alongside her Trainer to escape the destruction caused by Xerneas and Yveltal battling each other.

While training at the Super Training facility, the group was attacked by Team Flare and their Noibat. Trevor attempted to have Flabébé attack the Sound Wave Pokémon with Fairy Wind, but she was unable to hear the command due to the Noibat manipulating sound waves.

In Overthrowing a Tyrunt, X and Trevor attempt to take back a Manectite from a Team Flare Grunt so X's Élec could Mega Evolve. Élec attempts to gain the upper hand against the Grunt's Tyrunt, but has trouble due to their type matchups. After hearing Trevor's speech about X and Élec's bond, Flabébé rusheed in to defend Élec from the Royal Heir Pokémon. Getting tired of dealing with Élec, the Grunt had Tyrunt use Earthquake and prepared to leave, believing the match to be over. To his surprise Élec was able to retaliate, as Earthquake only did half the amount of damage due to Flabébé's Grassy Terrain. While Élec kept the Grunt distracted, Flabébé was able to retrieve the Mega Stones from him at the cost of her flower. After Élec won the battle, Flabébé left to find a new flower, replacing her red one with a blue one.

In Flabébé Blooms, Trevor attemptrf to keep the ultimate weapon from blooming by removing its key. When Lysandre got in the way, Trevor had Flabébé attack with a powerful Solar Beam. Despite successfully removing the key, the ultimate weapon still fired on Kalos.

In PS589, Flabébé battled against Bryony and her Bisharp, attacking once the Sword Blade Pokémon got too close. Shortly after the two are saved by X and Salamè.

In PS591, Flabébé was sent out to battle against Aliana and Bryony. Flabébé was able to take out Aliana's Diggersby with Razor Leaf by using Diggersby's Rototiller to power up the move. Immediately after the battle she evolved into Floette. Trevor then attempted to escape Bryony but is quickly stopped by her Bisharp. Y's Croaky stayed back to assist them and by combining Fairy Wind and Water Shuriken they defeated the Sword Blade Pokémon.

In PS595, she was revealed to have evolved into a Florges. Trevor used her to defend a wild Magearna from Cassius.

Personality and characteristics

Florges is a calm and happy Pokémon, often seen smiling with her Trainer. She shares many of Trevor's views and is often inspired by his words and actions. The Single Bloom Pokémon cares deeply for her friends and allies and will go to great lengths to protect them despite knowing that she is fighting against much stronger opponents. Florges shares a close bond with Trevor and was often seen floating beside him.
