As a contributor, I created the 2000 Burger King Promotional Pokémon toys page, as well as adding a ton of images and information to Pokémon food products and Pokemon book pages. I'm also an article editor. I mostly just lurk around Bulbapedia reading articles and looking for incorrect information and grammatical errors to fix. English is my first language, seeing as I am American, and I guess you can call me a grammar freak. I also have been learning Japanese for the past five years.
Personal Life
I am a second year college student attending a private college. I'm leaning towards Asian Studies, Studio Art, and Biology as majors/minors. I don't know what I want to do yet, though. Right now I'm tossing around the ideas of being a Veterinary Technician, a Biological Illustrator, and/or a video game artist. I really want to do something with art, I know, and something with animals. Though, my dream is to work for Nintendo doing art for Pokémon cards. I can dream, can't I?
I have 17 pets: 1 dog and 16 cats. I aspire to be a crazy cat lady. I also use to have a hermit crab named Krabby and a green anole lizard named Mr. Lizard. :3 I also help care for my aunt's many animals. She has 3 dogs and roughly 18 cats (they live on a farm so some leave for a short time.)
My personal interests include: drawing, painting, using my graphic tablet, animals/animal care, gaming, reading, writing, listening to music, watching anime, playing with my pets, being online, and studying Biology, Meteorology, and Japanese. I am an artist for two virtual pet sites as well. One of which I have been drawing images for since February 2007 and the other since May 2009.
Saying that I love Japan is an understatement. I'm obsessed with Japan. I'm going to be visiting the magnificent country for a few weeks in January of 2012 ^^
Pokémon
I have loved Pokémon ever since the days of Red and Blue, and I have always been a faithful Nintendo player. My favorite Pokémon include: Mewtwo, the Eeveelutions, Palkia, Reshiram, Lucario, Lugia, Ho-Oh, the Legendary Beasts, Kadabra, Luxray, Golduck, Marowak, Zangoose, Rayquaza, Houndoom, Charizard, Feraligatr, Vulpix, Ninetales, Arcanine, Meowth, Persian, Miltank, Purrlion, Liepard, and of course Pikachu. I know that's a lot but when there are 649 monsters, it's hard to narrow it down.
I have an obsession for legendary Pokémon, as well as Pokémon philosophy and comparing the Pokémon world to real world. My favorite region is Johto; my favorite main games are Silver and SoulSilver; my favorite anime season is season 5 Master Quest, and my favorite movies are Mewtwo Strikes Back, The Power of One, Spell of the Unown, Celebi: Voice of the Forest, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
I'm an AVID Pokemon collector, as my room is completely decked out in Pokemon items I've collected over the course of 12 years. And I mean I collect anything and everything Pokemon.
I collect the cards mostly for their pretty arts and holographic-ness :] I'm not very good at actually playing the game, though it would help with more practice.
