Introduction
So yes, this is the personal page of evkl, who's your average 16-year old kid, residing in southeastern Pennsylvania. Which happens to be in the USA. I'm currently in my junior year of high school, the 11th grade in the American system. This page is in the first person, mainly because I'm talking about myself, a hobby I enjoy more than most.
Interests
Mm. Yes. I do have interests, and I do have a life outside of Bulbapedia. It's basically as follows, in no order.
- Amateur political pundit.
- Soccer. And football. Both of 'em.
- Cycling
- Writing
- Poetry
Musical Interests
I have a minor side interest in a lot of music. I've played a handful of instruments for various lengths of time. Haven't written any songs, not yet, but I intend to do that sometime. Eventually. Anyway, some bands and artists I'd suggest checking out:
Academics
Subjects I have taken or I am currently taking and the level I've gone up to in them:
Computer Science: Intro to Java, VisualBasic, and C++
English: AP (College) level, plus a journalism course.
Foriegn Language: French, level 4.
History: US History (College course)
Mathematics: AP Calculus (College course)
Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
On evkl's name
My real name is a well-kept secret known to only a small handful of my friends in the online community; the name evkl is a combination of Evan and the first two letters of my last name, Kl. This has led to some calling me "Evan Kayell", which might as well be a last name.
The actual name should be evkl, with no capital letters. Bulbapedia's software does not support this, nor does Damian Silverblade, who feels the need to put evkl's name in all caps.
