Early History as a Pokémon Fan
I started out watching the Pokémon anime at a very young age, and I loved it. I believe I started watching the anime around the end of the original series, as I have a faint memory of Misty traveling with Ash. My favorite series was the Advanced Generation series. I loved the group of four, because it felt a lot like a family. I stopped watching the anime after the ninth season started, because I didn't have Cartoon Network on my TV. My days as a Pokémon fan seemed to be over.
Then came one day in late August 2010, when I had nothing to do. So, what did I end up doing? I watched some of the first Pokémon episodes! I never would've guessed that I was soon to become a huge fan of Pokémon. And so, I wound up becoming one. I started doing a whole bunch of research on Pokémon. I found out that there were Pokémon games, and surprisingly, I had never known about the games. In the course of about a month, I had watched every single episode that had aired, including the banned ones.

The Pokémon Games
I wanted to learn more about Pokémon. I played Pokémon Crystal, my first Pokémon game, and I loved it. I then took a step back, playing Pokémon Yellow. I loved walking around with Pikachu, and I liked how all of the starter Pokémon could be obtained. Soon after that, I played Pokémon Emerald. I discovered my first shiny Pokémon in this game. It was a level 6 Whismur in Rusturf Tunnel. I didn't know anything about shiny Pokémon, but I caught it anyways, because I knew it looked different.
Then came the games on the Nintendo DS. I played Pokémon Platinum, and I have dedicated the most time on this game. I got Pokémon Black and White. I finished my White version, and I am currently playing through Pokémon Black. I found and caught my second shiny Pokémon in this game in Chargestone Cave, while looking for the perfect Joltik to add to my team. It was a level 25 Klink, but I will not use it because I've already planned out my team.

Bulbapedia
While I watched the old Pokémon episodes, my sister discovered Bulbapedia. I used the website, and I loved how organized it was! I lurked Bulbapedia for a while before joining on October 23, 2010. At first, I didn't understand how to edit. I knew nothing about wikicode! I learned over time by reading everything in the Bulbapedia policies. About two months after joining, I made my first edit. I started to become much more active in February 2011. On March 5, 2011, I became a temporary Junior Administrator to help out with Black and White, but on April 30, 2011, I was officially made a member of the staff. I am no one.Well, I finally realized that all I've been talking about was something related to Pokémon. Anyways, I am a 26-year-old girl who likes to play the Pokémon games and watch the Pokémon anime. I live in New York City, but not that crowded part everyone automatically thinks of.
