Zipp's Garbodor (Japanese: ジップダストダス Zip's Dustdas) is a Pokémon owned by Zipp from Team Skull.

History

Zipp owns a Garbodor which first appeared in Young Kiawe Had a Farm! after Tupp Salandit had shot down the Ride Pelipper that Ash was riding when its trainer was seeking revenge on their previous defeat but was defeated when Pikachu used Gigavolt Havoc.

Garbodor reappeared in Alolan Open House! when they attacked the Pokémon School and briefly battled Ash's Litten under the command of Delia before being defeated by Pikachu with Gigavolt Havoc.

Garbodor reappeared in A Team-on-Team Tussle!, where it attempted to get a Darkinium Z only for Team Rocket to get it first.

Garbodor reappeared in A Glaring Rivalry!, where it was sent out to battle Gladion's Midnight Form Lycanroc but was defeated by Stone Edge.

Garbodor reappeared in Turning Heads and Training Hard!, where it took on Ilima's Eevee. It was defeated after its opponent enhanced its stats with Extreme Evoboost.

Garbodor reappeared in Real Life...Inquire Within!, where it attempted to battle Pikachu only for the poison to get clogged up in its arm, releasing a horrible smell. This caused Team Skull to retreat but Zipp later took Garbodor to the Pokémon Center where Ash, along with his classmates and Nurse Joy managed to free the blockage.

Garbodor appeared again in The Shape of Love to Come!, where it was drawn by Zipp as a part of a challenge from Mina to see whom could produce the best drawing of one of their Pokémon. When Zipp and his fellow Team Skull members became angry, they attacked Mina. With the help of Ash, Mina defeated the Team Skull trio and sent them running away in fear.

Garbodor appeared again in SM099, where it was relaxing on the beach, only to be Tackled by an Eevee. Garbodor was then used to attack Ash and his classmates, only to be sent flying by Eevee's Double-Edge.

Garbodor appeared again in SM104, where it was sent out to battle Hapu and her Mudsdale. Mudsdale withstood all of Salandit, Zubat, and Garbodor's attacks before quickly defeating them with High Horsepower.

Personality and characteristics

Garbodor is shown to be loyal to Zipp and doesn't hesitate to follow his orders. This includes ganging up on a single Pokémon in numbers. Garbodor is also shown to be close towards Zipp, as seen in Real Life...Inquire Within!, where he took it to the Pokémon Center for treatment despite Zipp being reluctant to go in.

When it is not battling, Garbodor is shown to enjoy relaxing, as seen in SM099, when it was on the beach.
