(Japanese: イッシュ地方 Isshu-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world, the setting of the Generation V Pokémon games Pokémon Black and White.

Little is known about Isshu at the present, aside from the fact that it is located much further away from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh than the four are from each other. It is unknown which real world area this region is based on, however, judging from its distance from the four regions based on Japan, it may be based on an area outside Japan.

Pre-release information has indicated that, like prior regions, Isshu has variations in the size of its settlements, with both large cities and small towns present. Much like previous regions, at least one cave and one forest are also present.

Motor vehicles are present in one scan, while CoroCoro's article on the games indicate that Isshu may be more technologically advanced than the previous four regions. Another scan, however, shows wooden railroad tracks, a stark contrast to the ultra-modern Magnet Train present in Kanto and Johto.

The first of the cities in the region to be revealed is known as Hiun City, which is located in the center of the region. Routes in the region have been shown through pre-release media to restart at Route 1, rather than beginning from 301. Other landmarks include two version-exclusive locations: Black City and White Forest for Black and White Versions, respectively.

  • Isshu is the only main series game region not to have an "O" sound in its name.
