Release information
This card was included in the Dark Explorers expansion, first release in the Japanese Reshiram-EX and Zekrom-EX Battle Strength Decks, with artwork by 5ban Graphics. In Japan, this print was reprinted in the Hydreigon and Garchomp Half Decks, the Master Deck Build Box EX, the Black Kyurem-EX and White Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Decks, and Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck. An Ultra-Rare Secret print with new artwork by the same artist was later included in the English Plasma Freeze expansion, previously released in the Japanese Spiral Force expansion.
During the XY Series, Ultra Ball was reprinted in the English Flashfire expansion, first released in the Japanese M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck with new artwork by 5ban Graphics. This artwork was later used in the Japanese Hyper Metal Chain Deck and Super Legend Set: Xerneas-EX & Yveltal-EX, the English Roaring Skies expansion, which originated from the Japanese M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck, the Japanese M Master Deck Build Box Power Style and M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style (released August 7, 2015), and in the Japanese BREAK Starter Pack.
