(Japanese: ウルティモ Ultimo) is a minor recurring character of the Pokémon anime. He was not given a name in the dub.
Ultimo first appeared in Curtain Up, Unova League!, where he participated in the Vertress Conference and was Virgil's first opponent. Their battle began off-screen. However, in Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, he was defeated by him and eliminated from the tournament.

| Crustle is the first Pokémon Ultimo is known to have on hand. It was used in the first round of the Vertress Conference against Virgil's Vaporeon. In Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, it was defeated by Vaporeon.
