Futaba Town (Japanese: フタバタウン, the exact English name is currently unknown) is the hometown of the protagonist and antagonist of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Professor Nanakamado also lives here. The town is near a body of water and filled with bright lush grass. Futaba means "sprout" or "bud" in Japanese.
