Twinleaf Town (Japanese: フタバタウン, Futaba Town) is the first town to be visited in the Sinnoh Region in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It is the hometown of the protagonist and his or her rival, Pearl. The town is also near a body of water, named Lake Verity. The Japanese name Futaba Town may refer to a Japanese word meaning bud or sprout (二葉 futaba); however, similarly to the English name, the kanji can be interpreted as two leaves.
Twinleaf Town is a small town with the fresh scent of new leaves in the air.
