In the anime
Anabel appeared in Talking a Good Game! and Second Time's the Charm!, where she battled Ash.
Palmer debuted in a cameo at the beginning of Arceus and the Jewel of Life, where he battled Cynthia. He made his main series debut in Historical Mystery Tour!, where he met up with his son Barry. In Challenging a Towering Figure!, he battled Ash and won.
Trivia
- Though the word "tycoon" is actually derived from the Japanese word 大君 taikun (a title for the shogun), it is converted into katakana as an English term to match the names of the other Frontier Brains' Trainer classes, rather than using the hiragana たいくん or its respective katakana タイクン (without the lengthening chōonpu).
