Tinted Lens (Japanese: いろめがね Tinted Glasses) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
In battle
Tinted Lens doubles the damage done by any moves that the Pokémon uses which are "not very effective". This effect is independent of whether the type effectiveness is ½× or less.
Outside of battle
Tinted Lens has no effect outside of battle.

In other games
In Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, Tinted Lens boosts the damage of not very effective moves by about 20%.
In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the boost is 40%.
