Synopsis
This book is based on the Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire episode A Ruin With a View!.
May's Torchic becomes unable to battle after scrapping with an Azurill and its family. On the way to heal it at the local Pokémon Center, Ash & May meet up with Professor Alden, a professor studying ancient ruins depicting Pokémon interacting with humans. Team Magma kidnaps him, hoping for information leading to their capturing Fossil Pokémon, but they fail and leave. Subsequently, Team Rocket tries to steal the keys to open the ruins, but Ash defeats them and sends them "blasting off". Professor Alden then shows Ash & May a secret chamber in the ruins where Relicanth live. May retrieves Torchic from the Pokémon Center, and it's onward to the next adventure!
