ThunderShock (Japanese: でんきショック Electric Shock) is an Electric-type move introduced in Generation I that deals a small amount of damage.

Generation I

ThunderShock does damage and has a 9.8% chance of paralyzing the opponent. ThunderShock cannot paralyze an opponent that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.

Generation II - Generation IV

The effects of ThunderShock continue into this generation, however, it has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent.

In the anime
