The Battle Between Legendary Pokémon

(Japanese: でんせつのポケモンどうしのたたかい The Battle Between Legendary Pokémon), an unusual tournament that removes the restriction on standard banned Pokémon, such as Mew and Arceus. This tournament features Sabrina, Falkner, Winona, and Fantina, each with one legendary Pokémon as their first Pokémon instead of their usual signature Pokémon. It is conducted under Single Battle rules. In Japan, its distribution began September 15, 2012.

Trivia

• In normal gameplay, Giratina can only enter its Origin Forme if it is holding the Griseous Orb. However, Fantina's Giratina Origin Forme is holding a Ghost Gem.
