???

Could the ??? type go next to Steel to make it look better? Unless, I'm not sure, but ??? could be neither physical nor special. Gligar 20:08, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Elemental types

Special*

The ???-type is a special type, but it's not a special type. It wouldn't look better, it'd just look... eh. Off. TTEchidna 20:25, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
The physical/special split makes it pointless to keep it the way it is. Bwburke94 15:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Edit request

Unknown type needs to be changed to ??? (type). Please and thanks. CuboneKing 02:07, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Much better

To whoever decided to change this, which I think is TTEchidna but I'm apparently not important enough to comment her talk page while she's on break =( thank you. It didn't make any sense at all keeping the Generation III or whichever model of which types were "Physical" or "Special," not only because pkmn has changed significantly since then, but also because some of them were just plain wrong. For instance, how can Dark-type be special when almost all of its moves involve striking the opponent (physical)? --*Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* 18:02, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Minor Change

I just noticed this template still has the "physical" or "special" outline color on the type pages depending on what they used to be before Gen IV. I think this could be changed to this:

Elemental types
Normal Fire
Fighting Water
Flying Grass
Poison Electric
Ground Psychic
Rock Ice
Bug Dragon
Ghost Dark
Steel
???

The only part I changed was the top. I also added the ??? (type).

Honestly, I think it was meant to be that way, no longer explicitly stating something which isn't true anymore yet a small wink at a piece of the games' history.--MisterE13 20:24, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I kind of realized that after I found out the edit was made in 2010 that added the border. LimeGreenCharizard 21:36, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
