Hmm... What exactly does "MS" stand for, anyway, "menu sprite" or "minisprite"? TTEchidna 21:37, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I always thought it was 'Mini Sprite', because it appears in many different areas other than the Party menu.. such as the Poketch, boxes and more. Tina^☆♥♫δ 22:38, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

If you have it set up with {{#if: {{{2|}}}|{{{2}}} Pokémon}} (coded more correctly, one could assume) you could have it with the Pokémon coming up automatically. Would you ever want to link to a non-Pokémon article with a Pokémon MS? —darklordtrom 07:41, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Updating MS sprites

Considering many of the bigger sprites from Sword/Shield and Let's Go are now readily available, is it a good idea to start updating the sprites for this template? I assume the older sprites could be saved differently like how the Gen 3-5 sprites were saved. Brawlersinthezone (talk) 14:32, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
