Teaque (Japanese: タイド Tide) is a character of the day who appeared in Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!.
Teaque participated in the Marine Cup Tournament held on a Decolore cruise ship, and was Iris's opponent in the first round. He used his Vanillite and battled against Axew. Using Double Team to evade Axew's Scratch and Dragon Rage, Vanillite easily defeated him with an Ice Beam. He and Vanillite then managed to defeat a Trainer's Amoonguss, making it to the final round, where he was set to battle against Ash.
During his battle with Ash, he commanded his Galvantula to use Thunderbolt against Pikachu's own Thunderbolt. Suddenly, Galvantula directed both bolts to the ship's source of electricity, causing a power outage. At that point, Cilan noted something strange about Teaque. After the power was restored, he continued the battle using Signal Beam, but his Galvantula was quickly defeated by Iron Tail.
