They are a group of boys who are students at the Pokémon School. They watches Ash battle Tapu Koko in A Guardians Rematch!. They appeared again in SM041, where they entered the Charjabug Race with a Charjabug. They raced against Ash, Sophocles, and Kiawe who had entered with Sophocles's Charjabug and Team Rocket, who disguised Meowth as a Charjabug. During the race, Team Twin Starmie managed to get to the first section, where they were stopped by a Boldore creating a huge wall of rocks. The team tried to copy Team Sophocles Lab's strategy of overcoming this by having their Charjabug launch of the team's runner's back, but due their racing car not being sturdy enough, it broke. With this, Team Twin Starmie was eliminated from the race.
