Team Plasma (Japanese: プラズマ団 Team Plasma) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation V games. This class comprises all the members of Team Plasma which battle the player: notably Ghetsis and the team's leader N in his final three battles with the player in Pokémon Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, the player again battles Ghetsis along with high ranking members Zinzolin, the Shadow Triad, and Colress, the latter of which only uses this class during one battle. N, having renounced the team's ways, no longer uses this class. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Ghetsis uses this class during his appearance in Episode RR.

Team Plasma was mentioned throughout much the Best Wishes series of the anime before becoming the main antagonists of the Best Wishes! Season 2: Episode N arc. N first appeared briefly in New Places... Familiar Faces!, while Ghetsis and Colress made their first appearances in Team Plasma's Pokémon Power Plot!.
