Pokémon world locations |
The Team Galactic Eterna Building (Japanese: ギンガハクタイビル Ginga Hakutai Building), abbreviated T.G. Eterna Bldg as a met location, is one of Team Galactic's bases of operations located in the northwest of Eterna City. As part of the plot of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, the player must rescue Pokémon the villainous team has kidnapped. Before players can enter, the Forest Badge must be obtained, so that HM01 (Cut) may be used outside of battle and the trees at the front of the building can be cut down.
The Galactic Eterna Building has four floors; each contains members of Team Galactic that must be defeated to progress.
Overview
The player enters the Team Galactic Eterna Building to save Rad Rickshaw's Clefairy, and other Pokémon that Team Galactic have stolen from the residents of Eterna City. It is a compulsory part of the game; defeating the henchmen and Commander Jupiter in battle will rescue Rad's Clefairy, and he will give the player a Bicycle as thanks. The player will then be able to cycle down Route 206's Cycling Road.
Rotom's Room
- Main article: Rotom's Room
In Platinum, a player with the Secret Key in their possession can unlock a hidden room containing five appliances that can change Rotom's current form. The room is located on the ground floor, to the left of the television.
It also contains a notebook with all of the details about changing Rotom's form and when it will revert automatically back to the normal form. The notebook appears to have been written by Charon.

The Team Galactic Eterna Building first appears in Ring Around the Roserade I. Platinum trains for her battle with Gym Leader Gardenia on a patch of grassland next to the building, with the help of Diamond and Pearl. Platinum's Prinplup inadvertently launches a Water-type attack towards the building, but Cynthia, who was visiting Eterna City and met the trio, has her Spiritomb suspend the attack in mid-air. It does the same with Tru's Razor Leaf. It is later revealed that Rad Rickshaw was being held hostage inside the building. When one Galactic Grunt opens a window, Cynthia has Spiritomb release the suspended attacks. They shoot through the window, knocking out the grunts inside and freeing Rickshaw. Rickshaw then erroneously identifies the main trio as his saviours, and gives each of them a Bicycle as his thanks.
Later, Team Galactic dispatch their capture aircraft from here to Sinnoh's respective lakes. In the Platinum arc, Diamond and Pearl follow Rotom to this building, where the appliances for Rotom to change form are located.
