Release information

This card was first released as an unnumbered XY-P Promo card at the TCG tournament held at the Pokémon Game Show. In this tournament, players had to bring their own 60-card deck, but were given a pack containing two mystery cards which they had to replace two cards in their deck with before playing. Both cards were always Team Flare Grunt. It was later included in the English XY expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection X. It was reprinted in the Generations expansion, originating from the Japanese BREAK Starter Pack. A Mirror Reverse Holofoil reprint was included in the Premium Champion Pack in Japan.

This card was reprinted in the Japanese The Best of XY subset, along with a Full Art print with new artwork by Naoki Saito. The Full Art print was included in the Premium Trainer's XY Collection released October 20, 2017 as a Yellow A Alternate card. It is based on the Generations print rather than the XY print.
