The non-HD image for this article has been revealed. How can it be placed on this article? (It has already been uploaded.) ?????? 18:05, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

It has to be uploaded over a:File:XY024.png. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 18:10, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
The low quality is already on the page, unless that's not what you meant. Looking at the history, the image is the same one I uploaded a few days ago, so it appears that nothing has been uploaded.--Pokemaster97 18:11, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

There's a better picture here. Also, a link explaining that it was canceled due to the Korean ship that sunk recently would be nice. Dada (talk) 15:54, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

We probably shouldn't just steal that website's pictures. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 15:56, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
We don't have any confirmation that the Korean ship accident is the reason that this episode was postponed. We shouldn't add anything about that until it's official. --Pokemaster97 16:37, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Did we ever get official confirmation that the BW episodes were banned due to the earthquake, or is it just something we knew? --The Great Butler (talk) 07:11, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
It's not "that website's" picture, it's an image uploader website. Dada (talk) 12:00, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
We should add that—although no reason was explicitly specified—the cancelation occurred directly after a large incident in which a ship sank and about 200 people drowned, for an episode that was about exploring an underwater ship. It was never specified why it was canceled, but...yeah. That's the reason. I can't see any reason for why we can't add the obvious link between the two. This website is not limited to just "things GF/Pokémon/Nintendo says". Dada (talk) 12:00, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
It may be obvious why it was cancelled, but a staff member said we shouldn't. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 13:17, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
Even so, it contradicts what we did back then for the Team Plasma two-parter. Both them and this have been officially stated to be postponed just due to the circumstances. The Whiscash episode page states that it was postponed because of the Niigata earthquakes without providing any official statement as well. I thing we should mention the Korean accident somewhere. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 19:54, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
We have a source for the fact that it was due to the sinking of that ship now, but um, I just wanted to add that just because Pokemaster97 is a staff member doesn't mean he's always right on everything. Bye Dada (talk) 11:53, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

Can this page be redirected to 'XY024 (unaired)' out of respect, please?

Just asking... ~~LDEJRuff~~ 16:00, 21 April, 2014 (UTC)

I'd like to discuss with Kenji-girl and the other staff before making any final decisions about what to do with the naming of the article. --Pokemaster97 20:12, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Pokémaster97 is right, we can't just start moving pages around at random as it will cause more problems later. --HoennMaster 20:25, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Okay, take your time. ~~LDEJRuff~~ 17:19, 21 April, 2014 (UTC)

You make the assumption that episode 24 doesn't refer to XY025. Since the episode has been skipped, I would expect the numbering to be adjusted. --SnorlaxMonster 05:04, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

When is this episode going to air?

Is this episode gonna air anytime soon, or can we go ahead and mark this episode as "cancelled"? I can't shake the feeling that they will eventually retcon this episode out of continuity like what they did with the Team Rocket Vs. Team Plasma special from the Best Wishes saga. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 05:19, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Note that another episode affected by the same disaster was later aired a couple month later. There is no reason to say that they have cancelled it. --Abcboy (talk) 05:54, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
While it was initially listed on Turner, Zap and Msn Tv, the episode title was later replaced with XY025's, hinting at the postponement of the episode. Will it ever air / has it been cancelled? We don't know for sure. CITV is also skipping the episode. AdynizWanna talk? 11:38, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Article title

This is no longer episode 24 of the XY series. It is either never going to air (like BW023 (unaired)), aired in a different place in the series (like BW037), or air as a special (like Holiday Hi-Jynx). In none of these cases is it appropriate to call this episode XY024. My personal preference is to just move it to the episode title, since we have the English title; however, I would be open to moving it to XY024 (unaired) as well. --SnorlaxMonster 11:59, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

I second this notion, based on the current re-numbering that they did with the remaining episodes and that if it does air it will be a special or a different number later on. G50 12:10, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
I'm not against this page being moved, but it seems that the episode has already aired in Korea. --超龍Chao 13:41, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
Correct. But there's nothing know regarding the placement at this point. It could remain as XY024, but it could also be retconned in the current stream of episodes like what happened to BW037. I think it's best to keep this page at its current position at the moment, and as soon as we know more, we can act accordingly. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 15:46, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
Yeah Chao, I noticed that shortly after posting this. I think it would be ideal to sort that situation out first. --SnorlaxMonster 16:05, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
I don't know if anyone heard, but this episode has been aired in South Korea. I think the title should still be XY034. --リック EO (Open for discussion) 07:40, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
We're aware of that. Since it aired after XY023, I think it's safe to say it's still XY024... but perhaps it's better to wait for more proof it's actually still in the same spot it originally was. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 09:01, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
All this time I was very convinced in that it was a preety bad idea and odd move to keep this as XY024, considering what happened for BW037. However, since this aired in South Korea, I completely changed my opinion. Now I agree in that we should keep it as XY024 for now, as long as we assume that we're definetly going to reorder all of the following episodes if there's a need to do so, even if there's 100 of them. I suggest that a reordering should be done only if this episode airs retconed in Japan, much like BW037 did. If that's the case, then we would have two versions of the episode known, so the original "XY024" version from Korea should be mentioned in the new, retconed "XYxxx" episode article. I hope I'm being clear enough... If the XY series ends and this episode remains unaired outside of Korea, I suggest we should treat it like AG101 (unaired), and move it to "An Undersea Place to Call Home!", treating it as an episode that's only canon in Korea. Long story short, I believe the fate of this article depends on its airing in Japan. But since we still don't know about said airing, it depends on the Korean airing (and thus, it stays as XY024) for now only. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 20:15, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
If South Korea aired this episode, I don't see why Japan would keep it banned. I say we should wait and see how Japan treats the episode before we start moving things around. --HoennMaster 23:14, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
Agreed, it's much to early to be moving things around when there's a risk that we'll just have to re-move it all over again later. --Pokemaster97 01:55, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

So was this episode a filler?? I'm guessing it is due to there being nothing in the important events section but I just want to make sure...RBK (talk) 01:20, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

Well of course the section is blank: we don't know what happens in the episode because nobody's seen it. Though I'd say it's safe to assume this was a filler episode considering there seem to be no unexplained changes in the episodes following it. TheFatPanda (talk) 23:56, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

Oh, well when I made that post I was under the impression that it had aired in Korea which is why I asked.RBK (talk) 00:27, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
