Is there really much weaponry?

Are you sure it has appeared many times? I can't really remember anything except for the Safari Zone Warden's gun. --Pokeresp 11:41, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Team Rocket has used weapons alot if nets and some of their machines count and missiles. Missiles have been used quite a bit like in the cinnabar gym.--Davidaipom 11:46, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, if you include this, then it's OK. But machines usually count as Team Rocket's Mechas. --Pokeresp 11:53, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
J uses weapons as well, the gold turning gun. TheAlmightyChris 12:16, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Still, they're not that common... --ShadowLugiaEx 00:42, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Is this article really needed?

Well, weaponry is NOT much common in Pokémon. And the article has only one example. I think this isn't very important... ShadowLugiaEx 00:42, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

I cited a few more examples. Weedle Mchairybug 03:07, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Giovanni's Helicopter

Correct me if I am wrong but Giovanni's helo in Mewtwo Returns had a chin mounted energy cannon and I think in another instance it sported what appeared to be an autocannon.

On naming the weapons

On occasion a weapon based on a particular real-life can be recognized. I made an edit speciiying that Officer Jenny used an M1 Garand in an episode. There was already an edit specifying a weapon Meowth held (I just corrected whhat type of weapon it was). Is this okay with everyone? - unsigned comment from Bulbajer (talkcontribs)

Actually, Officer Jenny used an M1 carbine, not a M1 Garand. The M1 Garand was clip fed, and Jenny's rifle has a magazine on the bottom.--KonguChaos (talk) 02:00, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

...Weapons in the games and manga?

The article title is 'Weaponry in the Pokémon world', but it merely details weapons seen in the anime. Weapons in both the games (such as the whips) and manga have also been seen a few times, I think they deserve a mention, especially since this article's title does not specifically mention 'anime' in it, but world. The article is clearly incomplete, then. Feel free to add information from the games, manga (and TCG, if relevant). —darklordtrom 02:13, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Minor Changes

I made some minor changes including fixing a grammar mistake and adding a missing part the community overlooked. I'm happy to help!Buddy999 06:05, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Gallery Expansion

If more pictures are provided, we should consider condensing all of them into a Gallery at the bottom of the page so that they don't clutter-up and displace the article's writing. --Arima 08:45, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Move to "Weaponry in the anime"

I don't think this page should be moved. While it currently only has information on the anime, it is just incomplete and should include information on weaponry in the games, manga, TCG, and books. --SnorlaxMonster 09:58, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I agree. Someone should add those sections. I'll remove the tag and add to the incomplete tag. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 10:38, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
