Booster Pack rewards

So after rediscovering this game and playing it way too much, I thought of the idea that the individual Club pages could possibly benefit from including which pack is given by each member/master as another column in the table (it's all already listed on the individual member/master pages). So for this page it would look like:

Icon Name Deck Booster Pack
TCG1 WaterMedal.png TCG1 Amy.png Club Master Amy Rain Dancer Deck Laboratory
TCG1 Amanda.png Club Member Amanda Lonely Friends Deck Mystery
TCG1 Sara.png Club Member Sara Waterfront Pokémon Deck Colosseum
TCG1 Joshua.png Club Member Joshua Sound of the Waves Deck Mystery

Is there any foreseeable problem with making this sort of change on each of the club pages? I don't even give a Schif (TalkContribs) 17:05, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

I like the idea, but I guess it should be "<booster> ×2" where appropriate (and I would also prefer to have "reward" in the heading). Nescientist (talk) 17:59, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
It might be better if the last column was just "Reward" (or "Booster reward", IDK) and the cells say "Mystery (booster) ×2" and such. Maybe it wouldn't be a huge problem, but just, me, I've never really known the TCG or this game, so looking at the above, it's not immediately clear to me what the Booster Pack has to do with these people. Labeling it reward makes it entirely obvious. Tiddlywinks (talk) 20:12, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
Yeah "Booster Pack" was just the first thing I thought of. There's definitely better names. Also.... every club member and master gives two packs. Literally every one. I don't even give a Schif (TalkContribs) 20:32, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
I didn't know that they all give two of the same, I thought some gave 1+1. Regardless, wouldn't hurt to include.
Worth noting that the German wiki also lists the number of Prize Cards. I also like that. Nescientist (talk) 22:21, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm all for including that as well. Like booster packs, that's also already recorded on the individual NPC pages, just not on the club pages. I don't even give a Schif (TalkContribs) 12:19, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

Since this change should probably be made to all Club articles if we do it, I figured I'd mock up some possible templates so we don't have to use the full code over and over. How does this look?

Icon Name Deck Prize Cards Reward
TCG1 Amy.png Club Master Amy Rain Dancer Deck 6 TCG1 WaterMedal.png Water Medal
TCG1 Booster4.png Laboratory booster pack ×2

TCG1 Amanda.png Club Member Amanda Lonely Friends Deck X TCG1 Booster3.png Mystery booster pack ×2

TCG1 Sara.png Club Member Sara Waterfront Pokémon Deck X TCG1 Booster1.png Colosseum booster pack ×2

TCG1 Joshua.png Club Member Joshua Sound of the Waves Deck X TCG1 Booster3.png Mystery booster pack ×2

If we move all the character articles to the right place, the templates can be simplified to avoid needing to link to Amanda with the text Club Member Amanda, for instance. And I tried to include the possibility for us to expand the templates to the second game as well if we ever decide to do so, but if y'all don't like that, that's another way the templates can be simplified much further. Very nice, thanks! I guess it's details now (I can't give template approval anyway), so I may say that the color should probably be customizable. I don't know if for the reward, (picture)×2 would already suffice; if the text gets an extra column, though, I would prefer it to actually read "Mystery (booster) ×2" and such, and be centered. As for the naming, I guess naming conventions for articles are somewhat more important that easy linking by a template; it makes sense for "Amanda" to contain the article on the club member, simply because there's no other Amanda, and everyone searching "Amanda" will be looking for her. Is there a reason why the param 2 cannot be used for the icon? And, by extension, not to move the booster images and then use param 6 for them as well? (And I don't know what difference there is for GB2, but if there is one, good job thinking of it.) Nescientist (talk) 18:32, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
I don't advise literal parenthesized text like "Mystery (booster) ×2". I wrote it like that above meaning, either "Mystery booster ×2" or "Mystery ×2" (depending on whether the header included the word "booster"). Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:59, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
So, that'd be the short version:
Icon Name Deck Prize Cards Reward
TCG1 Amy.png Club Master Amy Rain Dancer Deck 6 TCG1 WaterMedal.png
TCG1 Booster4.png ×2
TCG1 Amanda.png Club Member Amanda Lonely Friends Deck 3 TCG1 Booster3.png ×2
TCG1 Sara.png Club Member Sara Waterfront Pokémon Deck 2 TCG1 Booster1.png ×2
TCG1 Joshua.png Club Member Joshua Sound of the Waves Deck 4 TCG1 Booster3.png ×2
The booster images link. Making them bigger is an option, though that makes the table bigger as well. I would really like to be going to implement this, it's useful regardless of implementing details. I don't know if we do need a template/templates; it worked so far, and I only see four instances they'd currently be used in. Nescientist (talk) 11:43, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
I don't see a benefit to using the images over a simple link; with how we'd need to increase the image size so that people can read the name, I only see it as a bad idea. And something I'd like verified: do the number of Prize Cards change for anyone in the sequel? glikglak 12:19, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
Was just a thought. And you do mean both then (as Pumpkinking sketched above), or do you mean text only (Schiffy above)? According to the pages, they change, but I've never played the sequel, so I can't really verify. But if they do, we should maybe scratch that column entirely?
