Um.....

About this walking Pokémon in HGSS, how do you ppl know Red will be in the game?--Darknesslover5000 16:13, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

He was in Pokémon Gold and Silver.--Dark ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 16:15, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't necessarily mean he'll return.--Darknesslover5000 20:56, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
For all we know it could be Leaf on Mt. Silver is you start the game as Soul. --Darknesslover5000 16:13, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
If it's Leaf if you start the game as Soul, then won't it be Red if you start the game as Gold?--Dark ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 16:20, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes, but the edit makes it sound as if it might just be Red waiting there.--Darknesslover5000 16:31, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
We don't actually have any confirmation of Red or Leaf. Here's the thing. They are remakes of Gold and Silver. Gold and Silver have Red. So barring some unfortunate circumstances, Red will be there in HGSS. If Leaf turns up for girls, that'll be a nice surprise, but at the moment it's Red. Kapeesh? —darklordtrom 07:19, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
but isn't this game a sequel to FireRed and LeafGreen?--Darknesslover5000 15:56, 2 September 2009 (UTC) If I'm right, I'm going to laugh so hard.--Darknesslover5000 15:56, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
wow I was an idiot--Darknesslover5000 19:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

guess I was wrong...

nothing ever lets me be right...--Darknesslover5000 05:10, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Recalling Walking Pokémon

What if a player of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions doesn't want the first Pokémon in his/her party to be out of its Poké Ball all the time? Barring riding the bike constantly or always being in small buildings, is there a way to make your Pokémon stop following you? - unsigned comment from Glitchipedia (talkcontribs)

Nope. Unless, potentially, you hack the game. But in regular gameplay there is nothing. —darklordtrom 22:30, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
I had that same question. Lucky me it's already answered.--Darknesslover5000 19:22, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Meowth

Doesn't Team Rocket's Meowth count as a Walking Pokémon in the anime? Taromon 19:39, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

It is mentioned there already. —darklordtrom 02:10, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Size

I'm not really sure why anyone would care, or why I do for that matter, but what are the limitations in HGSS in terms of size? Bigger Pokemon like Wailord and Arceus obviously aren't allowed to enter buildings, but how is this determined? Do Pokemon over a specific height get sent back into their Pokeball, or is there a list of Pokemon?--Skaisdead 23:31, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure but I'm guessing that all Pokémon can be taken into buildings; huge Pokémon like Onix and Wailord are scaled down considerably in the overworld sprites. Taromon 14:16, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
I know this, but certain Pokemon cannot be taken into buildings. During a very brief time playing the game, I recall seeing that my Arceus was put back into it's Pokeball whenever I entered a building. I'm guessing this is the same case for other sizeable mons.--Skaisdead 10:38, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
My Steelix will recall itself when I walk into a building. It's weird, because her sprite doesn't look proportionate to her reported size - it's larger than others, but not more than twice as tall as I am, despite being supposedly almost 30ft long - but she acts as though she were too tall to stand indoors. Yamikuronue 19:09, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
My guess is that Pokémon that have larger graphics sets in the game (64 × 64 images instead of 32 × 32 images) aren't allowed in buildings. If that is the case, then the list of Pokémon that aren't allowed in buildings are as follows: Steelix, Lugia, Ho-oh, Wailord, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Regigigas, Giratina (both forms), and Arceus. —Naokohiro 01:44, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

um...

considering what the released scans of the new Pokémon Black and White Versions look like, does that mean that walking Pokemon won't appear in the new games?--Darknesslover5000 18:30, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

They're pre-release screenshots. Game's still a work in progress, we know little-to-nothing about them... so info on BW is not going in this article yet. ▫▪Ťïňắ 18:47, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Mk, I was just curious though.--Darknesslover5000 19:01, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Infoboxes

in the Infoboxes, why are the images changed from the HGSS walking sprites back to standard Pokémon menu sprites?--Darknesslover5000 04:59, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Probably because of the lack of walking sprites in B/W.--Purimpopoie 05:10, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
ugh, talk about an inconvenience. AND WTF BLACK AND WHITE ISN'T HAVING WALKING POKÉMON?!?!--Darknesslover5000 05:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

I walked thru walls, now please help!

HELP!!!! I used an AR code to walk OUT of Amity Square WITH a pokemon (shroomish) traveling with me in Diamond. I accidentally saved. Does ANYONE have an AR code to remove a partner walking with you?!?! I cant fly or surf! And I have a hard time catching anything! I cant use my fishin rod either! And DONT YOU DARE GO ON ABOUT HOW CHEATING IS WRONG! I was trying to research DPBox and Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur. I did, however, come to one conclusion: Its the SAME POKEMON. When it faints, the entire thing is seen. So... can someone help?????
