How are these derived? I do not feel that the Meinfoo/Fraxure encounter rates are even. Yurpdurp 22:25, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
:I agree that there are significant problems with the encounter rates listed...for example, I've not been able to find a Deino on level 3 in Pokemon Black, despite looking for a while. This experience was also found by someone who looked thoroughly here. Decided to do a few tests before posting this, in 25 encouters on 3F (mid), I met 9 Woobat (36%), 8 Durant (32%), 6 Boldore (24%), 2 Mienfoo (8%). This is consistent with the rates given for the other floors 2-6, so I'm switching floor 3 to that category...if there were a 20% chance to meet a Fraxure on level 3, there's less than a 1/250 (0.4%) chance that I wouldn't have met one in 25 encounters. Grumbledwarfskin (talk) 15:31, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

On the page for Sawk, it says it can be encountered in dark grass on Victory Road. There is no mention of Swak or Dark Grass in the Pokémon section of this page, however. AsbestosBill 19:36, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
:iirc, there is no "dark grass" in Victory Road. == Two different places? ==
Looking at the maps for BW and B2W2, the Victory Roads seem to be in different places and have vastly different layouts, with only part of them being the same, I think. Shouldn't this be made into two separate articles as a result? ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:41, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
:Wait, doesn't even seem that they overlap in places. Therefore, I think that they should be considered two separate locations and have two articles. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:43, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
::The very final area where you have the rival battle overlaps. There you can see the path you took in B1W1 has collapsed. Bluesun (talk) 14:41, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
:::Yeah, okay then. But the rest of it is totally different in layout and is different altogether. I think that they are different enough to warrant two different articles. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 14:42, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
::::I think that is article should be seperated into two seperate articles for a few reasons. The first reason is that they are in different locations and they have very different layouts. Another reason why I think they should be seperated is because in Black 2 and White 2 there is a Pokémon Center and Poké Mart, but neither of those exist in Black and White. Also the route connecting to Victory Road in Black and White doesn't exist in Black 2 and White 2. The Victory Road in Black 2 and White 2 is based off of the ruins of N's Castle, since post-game you can find the ruins of his castle. Lady Ariel (talk) 16:06, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

:::::I agree, the route you take is completely different to that of BW it seems easier to create a separate page for them rather than clogging up this page and filtering its details so it doesn't overflow or appear too long Azure/ChromeVoid42 (talk) 18:17, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

:::::: I agree, can we encounter Wild Pokemon in the old Victory Road in BW2, also where would we put Hugh's Rival Battle because he is fought in the sole remaining floor of BW's Victory Road. Other than that, I completely support this. XXSuperXXNintendoXx (talk) 19:13, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Hugh's rival battle in Black 2 and White 2 would probably be put with the Victory Road from B2W2, since he wasn't in the original Black and White. Lady Ariel (talk) 19:23, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
:The way I see it, since there is only one part that is the same in both versions, we should have two pages for these Victory Roads. Maybe something could be added to the article explaining that the one floor is the same in both versions. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 20:54, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

I agree that it should be 2 separate articles. Is the part where you fight the rival the one place that was in the BW Victory Road that is also in the B2W2 Victory Road? If that's the case, this should be 2 separate articles. For the part that is the same, you could say in BW that it collapses in B2W2 and that is where you fight the rival (I don't think we should list the rival fight for the BW Victory Road though). In the B2W2 Victory Road, obviously list the rival battle. Torpoleon (talk) 13:06, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

::Agreed, as of now the page looks very cluttered and really needs to be split. What would we name the articles, they are technically on the same mountain but on different parts of it? :::We should keep it simple. One article could be Victory Road (Black & White) and the other as Victory Road (Black 2 & White 2). Torpoleon (talk) 00:02, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

I've been thinking of proposing an article split as well. The areas are so vastly different that they ought to be given different articles. Even the map location is slightly different, further designating that there are two different locations. The second article can refer to the small portion that is still available from the first game, and the first article can refer to the landslide and caving in saying that a new Victory Road was created afterwards with only the top area still available (which is of course needed for the Pokémon League entrance). Regardless of all this, two articles are mandatory; they are different Victory Roads completely. CycloneGU (talk) 03:09, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

So, who wants to make the split? It would be one article called Victory Road (Black and White), talking about Victory Road there and how in B2W2, most of it has caved in. The other article could be called Victory Road (Black 2 and White 2), talking about Victory Road there and how only a small part of BW's Victory Road is intact. So, is anyone going to do it? Cathy's Pokemon Genders

I just battled Ace Trainer Cathy and all of her Pokemon were male, but in the article page it says her team is all female. Is this just a generalization on that most of the time they are all female or what?Bolter1 01:42, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Badge Check Gates

If I were to put down information about the badge check gates, would it go here or in Route 10? PikaNinja7 18:55, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

ANSWER: I believe the wild Pokémon encounter rates are the same in the third check gate as Route 10. While the music does still play, if you look at your town map while in the gates, you'll see that you're still in Route 10. Therefore, I don't think we should add those encounter rates, because it's technically not in Victory Road. --Biendeo 21:02, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, Badge Check Gates info would go on Route 10, because that's where they technically are. --SnorlaxMonster 14:35, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
