There's no other page named "Verity". Lake Verity is sufficiently distinct in name that a hatnote would be fine. --SnorlaxMonster 07:19, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

  • Support - I think the best we could do to distinguish the character from the location is a hatnote. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:23, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Support - Most people looking for Lake Verity will search for "Lake Verity", meaning most people who type just "Verity" are likely looking for the character, which currently requires an extra click which really isn't needed.--Bardock 03:29, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Support - There's no real reason it shouldn't just be called Verity. We can leave a hatnote if needed. Spiderfog (talk) 18:04, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

Verity is Cynthia's daughter?

I've heard something about this several times since the movie got released, but has anybody managed to get a screenshot of when Cynthia appears or any of Verity's lines referring to her? Azureprism (talk) 23:33, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

Oha Suta a couple weeks ago.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 23:44, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
The woman on the photo isn't confirmed to be Cynthia. She doen't even have Cythia's signature ear things. How could the admins have let this addition on both Cynthia's and Verity's pages ? Jeangabin666 (talk) 23:43, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
Also, Cynthia is from Celestic Town, not Twinleaf Town. Jeangabin666 (talk) 23:47, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
Do you have a source for that? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:08, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Blazingfist provided a source. Unles you have a source for Verity not being Cynthia's daughter, it stays for now.--ForceFire 04:14, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Fine. :( GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:21, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Tiddlywinks, before you remove this information, perhaps you should work first on discrediting the source that Blazingfist provided, as linked earlier. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:15, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Just because you brought it up to the talk page doesn't mean you can just revert his edit, it still falls under edit warring. Tiddlywinks has provided a source and it comes from the director of M20.--ForceFire 05:50, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Sorry. I thought he should've brought it up here first and we could've discussed which source was more true. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:02, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Who would you believe: the director of the movie or hosts of a tv show?--ForceFire 06:06, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
The director. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:08, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Refer to my comment before and let it sink in.--ForceFire 06:10, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Consider it sunken in. I thought Oha Suta was also an official source, but I guess not. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:14, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Depends who on Oha Suta stated the claim, in this case it was the hosts.--ForceFire 06:21, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
I see. Well, I'm disappointed, because I thought it'd be interesting, but I digress. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:23, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
We can at least say the woman on the photo looks like Cynthia (hairstyle), but not that she's Cynthia (signature clothes and pokémon missing). Jeangabin666 (talk) 09:31, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
