Shouldn't the article at least mention that the concept of three vs three battles first made its appearance in the 'spin-off' arcade game, Pokémon Battrio? Mudkipchan 00:54, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

At this point in time, we have no real information on how triple battles work apart from "they are battles where you send out three Pokémon". The article in question likely isn't going to exist for a while. Maybe once it gets created, we can consider adding it in. --Darkeiya talk to me! 00:59, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't get what you mean by 'article in question isn't going to exist for awhile', as the Triple Battles article, this one, has been created. What we do know is that in triple battle, it is three against three, a concept first introduced by Battrio. That is pretty much what it is, a three on three battle, which was how it was in Battrio and apparently in Gen V. Mudkipchan 01:03, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
She means that a user created it to get around the protection of the other two spellings...--Psyライダー 01:05, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Also, when the page protection ends and the page is properly made, we will most likely add that trivia. --Psyライダー 01:10, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm not convinced that it would be considered trivia. I know Battrio is just a spin-off title, but it was still the first to introduce the very concept of three vs three battles. It seems too much of a given fact to me to be considered mere trivia. Mudkipchan 01:12, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I do believe that when something side games exclusive is integrated in main series it is noted...I think...If not, it should probably be noted...--Psyライダー 01:14, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't mind if it's given a very small mention in the front paragraph, it's just too much of a fact to be put in trivia, in my opinion. Mudkipchan 01:15, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
That works too...--Psyライダー 01:16, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
In reply to Mudkipchan's quote, I personally think that triple battles will work just like double battles, where Pokemon with highest speed go first, etc., except with three Pokemon. I thought I'd give my two cents. Alebcay 23:45, 13 January 2011 (UTC)alebcay

This page should link to Double battle#Triple battle, as it is currently a double redirect. --SnorlaxMonster 02:50, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Number of Triple battles

This page doesn't list the amount of triple battles. Can anyone tell me how many there is? And isn't triple battles showcased more in Pokemon white? Flygonfanno1 12:35, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Counter and Mirror Coat

Are Counter and Mirror Coat confirmed to "Affect any opponent or partner"? If that's the case, what about Metal Burst, seeing as it's so similar? LimeGreenCharizard 16:06, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Locations

I understand listing locations for Black and White, since the Triple/Rotation battles were kind of exclusive to each of those, but should they really be listed for Black and White 2, which apparently have both kinds of battles almost equally throughout? I mean, Double Battle and Tag Battle don't have exhaustive Location sections, not even for the Gen they were introduced...

And do you plan to list every location for every game since BW? If not, perhaps the "Locations" heading should be changed to say something different, or some text added just under the heading, to make it only about BW where Triple/Rotation battles were mostly exclusive (or else make it only about Gen 5).

I bring this up mostly because the Triple Battle and Rotation Battle Locations sections for BW2 are missing some trainers, but I wasn't sure BW2 should really be listed exhaustively. If the BW2 listings stay, then the missing trainers for Triple Battle are:

For Rotation Battle, the missing trainers are:

Also, Triple Battle's BW2 Locations list is markedly different from Rotation Battle's, listing only the Route - with no trainer type - after Charles' entry. Again, if it stays, these should probably be made parallel. All the trainer types in Rotation Battle's Locations list for BW2 are the same as the Triple Battle types for the same place, except for Reversal Mountain where the Triple Battle trainer is a Battle Girl and Route 7 where the trainer is a Lass.

Heat Wave Error on page

Heat Wave should be under Any Adjacent foe, not Any Pokémon as it can it all adjacent foes. Yamitora1 (talk) 20:03, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Gust

Gust should be under Any Pokemon not All Pokemon. No time to edit myself. LimeGreenCharizard
