I suspect it will require some edits to Template:GymInfobox to work, but since the trend in the last few months has been to depreciate templates that switch over time, I think it would be best if this Gym's infobox was Normal-colored and listed "Grass, Fire, and Water" as its type instead of cycling between the three over time. == Dominant Type ==
I'm curious. I see that when I typed in Striaton Gym a few months ago, it said that the dominant type was Fire. Now, as I typed it in today, it says that the dominant type is Water. Did it ever say that the dominant type was Grass at one point? I mean, with triplets as Gym Leaders, I get the feeling for the three different types. Had I not began to grow up, I would've bought Generations III, IV, V, and even VI! I actually would've, too, but I didn't have much money. Anyway, does the dominant type have to do with their age? I mean, in the anime, Cilan isn't given a set age, but my guess is 15; so, would Water be the dominant type? The other reason I'm asking is based on the badge itself. At the top is blue, then green in the middle, and red at the bottom. Would it be safe to say that although they're triplets, Cress is the eldest, followed by Cilan and then Chili? ‎WATERWARRIOR67

I noticed a peculiar trivia bit, but I'm not sure which article it belongs to, if to any. I noticed that even though all three brothers' names start with the same letter, they all start with different sounds, represented by this letter (or by a digraph involving this letter). Is it notable enough to be put in the article? Kikugi (talk) 10:47, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

Gaido

I know it's not really important, but wouldn't the guide's name be Gaidō instead of Gaido?KurowaSan 07:42, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Butler Cafe Pic

I dont think that an anime picture should go in the games section. I think it should be moved. Pokemaster97 21:30, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Fixed. --SnorlaxMonster 05:06, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Tea

Grass - Herbs, Water - Water, Fire - Heat and the 3 own what is colloquially known as a café. Worth noting? Lostbluez 20:47, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

I think that it would be acceptable. --SnorlaxMonster 01:12, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I think it's worth adding, especially as someone in Shippou City actually says something along those lines to the player. ----Valkyria (Talk) 12:45, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

In-Game Picture

I can't get a picture of the full map but I can get an in-game pic from inside the gym. Would it be useful in the article? Or would it be better to just wait until a full map picture is added? ----Valkyria (Talk) 01:55, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Most Generation V locations don't have full maps due to the level of 3D in the games (yet). You should just add whatever image you can. --SnorlaxMonster 01:58, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Actually, the black and white gide has the maps in it. Manomow 03:28, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Type cycling

I suspect it will require some edits to Template:GymInfobox to work, but since the trend in the last few months has been to depreciate templates that switch over time, I think it would be best if this Gym's infobox was Normal-colored and listed "Grass, Fire, and Water" as its type instead of cycling between the three over time. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:43, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Dominant Type

I'm curious. I see that when I typed in Striaton Gym a few months ago, it said that the dominant type was Fire. Now, as I typed it in today, it says that the dominant type is Water. Did it ever say that the dominant type was Grass at one point? I mean, with triplets as Gym Leaders, I get the feeling for the three different types. Would it be safe to say that although they're triplets, Cress is the eldest, followed by Cilan and then Chili? - unsigned comment from ‎WATERWARRIOR67 (talkcontribs)

It is on a switch. So it will change between Fire, Water, and Grass.--ForceFire 03:55, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

Gym brothers

I noticed a peculiar trivia bit, but I'm not sure which article it belongs to, if to any. I noticed that even though all three brothers' names start with the same letter, they all start with different sounds, represented by this letter (or by a digraph involving this letter). Is it notable enough to be put in the article? Kikugi (talk) 10:47, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

I think it's plain enough for people to see, especially when their names are shown all together several times. Tiddlywinks (talk) 12:00, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
I see, so if something is evident from the article, it shouldn't be put in trivia, however pectuliar? Glad you told me this, now I won't suggest some things I otherwise would. Kikugi (talk) 12:08, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
