Stantler's Crystal entry seems to be a reference to velvet antler[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velvet_antler] which is sometimes considered to be good sleep aid [http://www.surthrival.com/pdfs/Immortal%20Velvet%20Guide.pdf]. In fact, the balls on Stantler's antlers look like antler slices. Trick Room

The lovely reindeer can learn TM92 (Trick Room) but it isn't listed in its moves list :) --Criққѳ~* 17:33, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Name origin

I thought the name came from stare and antler, since the antlers look like huge staring eyes. Does anyone agree or should we leave it as stag? Ok 18:06, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm not an admin, so my opinion doesn't really give the authority to add it, but I like that a lot more than stomp andantler as an idea for it's name origin. In A Manica 17:40, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

City of Deer

Does anyone else find it interesting how Stantler appears on route 36, which leads to Violet City - which is supposed to be the game counterpart of Nara, Japan, a city full of deer? - unsigned comment from Eevee-Girl (talkcontribs)

Name

Is is possible that it comes from Saint, abreviated as St.? ^^I^ rides camels… | love 'em. (T^LK) 16:34, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

On origin section...

Stantler's Crystal entry seems to be a reference to velvet antler[1] which is sometimes considered to be good sleep aid [2]. In fact, the balls on Stantler's antlers look like antler slices. [3] Trainer Yusuf (talk) 16:40, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
