Magnetic fields of Mt. Coronet

The special magnetic fields of Mt. Coronet extend to the Spear Pillar. Which means, any Magneton or Nosepass when leveled up here, will evolve. Whether the Rare Candy was used, or you defeat Mars and Jupiter, Cyrus, Dialga or Palkia. Pikachu25 06:10, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes. It's in the article. TTEchidnaFire echyGSDS! 06:18, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Someone with Platinum should confirm if Mt. Coronet extends to the Ruined World - by battling and beating Giratina in the Ruined World (albeit not saving of course) with a Nosepass or Magneton which needs at least the Giratina-amount of Exp. to level up. I'm mentioning this on the Spear Pillar talk page as well. Satosuke 03:04, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Misnamed?

Isn't that just like what's in Melee? Kanto Poké Floats, Kanto Pokémon Stadium? In reality, it's a subtitle dealie, I think. Guess we'll see in 17 days. TTEchidnaFire echyGSDS! 17:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

I fail to see how it is incorrect anyway since it is the mountain on the lower half. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:08, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
I agree. --Theryguy512 22:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Move.

I suggest that this page shall be moved with Spear Pillar (stage), reasons given in the "move"-template on the top of the article. Who agree? Pokémon Lover King Mario

No, no. They're fine as seperate articles. Leave them be. --Theryguy512 01:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
We didn't move Viridian Forest because of the one in Pokémon Channel. Moving it back. As for the stage, well, it gets a separate article like the stadiums do. Hell, I'd propose merging all Pokémon stages into one article. TTEchidna Fire echy 03:21, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Read a little bit more information, oh god. All stages and characters n the entire Smash Bros. series are meant to bring back memory, up to Battlefield and Final Destination. Stages such as Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2 are new creations from the Pokémon-seriesthat shall bring back them memories (as said before), while stages such as Saffron City and Spear Pillar are taken from the Pokémon-games and bring back memories that way. Look a little bit, they are meant to be identical as they are in D/P in SSBB! Shall me move Pallet Town's anime-version to Pallet Town (anime)? Litlerrot Town's Special-version to Litleroot Town (Special)? That is just as ridicolous as moving Spear Pillar's Smash Bros. counterpart to Spear Pillar (stage). And coming up with the Viridian Forests and the Pokémon Stadiums as proof are juast MORE ridicolous, especially since the Viridian Forests are in two entirerly different regions, and the Pokémons Stadiums are confirmed to be different Pokémon Stadiums. ~~Pokémon Lover King Mario

JUST LEAVE IT. IT DOESN'T MATTER. Glinn 12:34, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes, it does. Pokémon Lover King Mario 13:55, 23 March (GMT +01)
No it doesn'tPokeManiac102 16:26, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
I think it's obvious that the Spear Pillar and Saffron City stages are based off the in-game locations, but there's no way they're exactly the same. They've been re-vamped for the sake of smashing and are fundamentally different, and deserve their own articles. --Martonimos 21:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Bringing back an old topic here, since I thought of suggesting a merge but read the talk pages to see if I could find any old discussion. To Martinomos, yes, they are different but that doesn't mean the stage deserves a separate article. It's essentially a different version of Spear Pillar, similar to how Sootopolis City in the anime is a different version than from the games (with half of the volcano cut off), and how Brock in the anime is a different version than from the games (being a breeder and traveling with Ash and co.) Since it's just a different version, I think we should merge the articles. Memo326 01:33, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Width...

Is it just me, or does the Platimum Spear Pillar look wider than the D/P Speat pillar?--Pkmn 19:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

It has been redesigned for more space for the dragon trio 1ted59 01:00, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Snow

When traveling to the Spear Pillar, you can clearly see the uppermost reaches of the mountain are covered in snow, and if the Spear Pillar is at the summit of the mountain, how can there be no snow? As shown when Cyrus unleashes Dialga and Palkia, it is not a room since the time/space warp is seen spreading all over Sinnoh. That is also proved in the picture on the Sinnoh page.

I'm just going to chalk it up to the easy-to-presume supernatural properties of the place.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 03:36, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Notable?

In DP, Spear Pillar is mirrored. Should this be noted?--Gou 22:47, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Walk Anywhere

Yes yes, I know it's cheating, but anyway. I was testing Pokemon Platinum and I wanted to see the 3D stuff, so I walked anywhere- to the spear pillar. Anyway, I walked all the way off the top and suddenly it said "Jubilife City"!!!- unsigned comment from MatthewJA (talkcontribs)

Yep. Cool. Are you going to do something about that, or keep on using the discussion page as a forum? If you think it's horrendously important, add it to the article. And next time, sign your posts. — THE TROM — 08:17, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
my friend tested this and almost every area that is not part of the over world ex. buildings has areas in every direction from it of it. Freaky right? 1ted59 01:04, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
When you hack, anything's possible. —darklordtrom 06:53, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Gone?

I returned to Spear Pillar after defeating the Elite Four and Palkia and Dialga aren't here, did I miss something, or have thier locations been moved?Pip 16:34, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

I have the same problem. King Neoterikos 11:02, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
You need to have their respective orbs, I believe. — THE TROM — 11:03, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
This is.... platinum?--FF(editstalk) 11:36, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Yes, Platinum, but I worked it out. Needed to talk to Cynthia's grandmother, who explains that the orbs summon the legendaries. That triggers their return to spear pillar. King Neoterikos 23:49, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Trainer Battles?

We don't have any trainer battles on here, you know, like the duo Grunts and then the double battle with Mars and Jupiter. And of course we have Cyrus too. Is there a reason we don't mention it? Should I post the battle information? --Crystal Shards 20:40, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Odd. If you can get the grunts, I'll copypaste the Admins' information from other parts of the site. —darklordtrom 22:26, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
It's a double battle, a female Grunt and a male Grunt. If the side the Grunts show up on matches the Pokémon they own, then the female owns a level 38 Stunky and a level 38 Glameow; the male owns a level 38 Dustox and a level 38 Croagunk. Player gets 6080 for winning. Do you guys need the battle info for Diamond for the Mars/Jupiter as well, or is it the same in DP as in Platinum? --Crystal Shards 00:18, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

The Spear Pillar Incident

I was wondering if maybe we should make a separate article for the storyline events that happened on Spear Pillar which can be explored in more detail, rather than putting spoiler tags on the location bar, rather saving it for location information, an extremely brief summary of what happened (Such as "It was here that the player made their final stand against Team Galactic") and a link to the new article. I just don't feel the events are explored enough and exploring them further would crowd the page. - unsigned comment from Kohdok (talkcontribs)

I don`t think we should.Also,I`m not an admin.But if I were, I would say no.Wait,there is a walkthrough.The Aura Wolf !!!! 01:03, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Should it be noted?

Should it be noted that the Spear Pillar appears to be based off ancient Greek temples? ZMT123 00:16, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Azure Flute

The article states that catching the creation trio is required to trigger the Hall of Origin event. This is simply not true in Platinum but it may be in Diamond and Pearl (I'm unable to verify if that's the case right now). If you try to trigger the event without entering the Hall of Fame, obtaining the National Pokédex, and defeating Team Galactic at Spear Pillar by having the Azure Flute and the event flag set, the game will return the message "The Azure Flute echoed hollowly... It appears to be meaningless using the Azure Flute here..." (「てんかいのふえ は むなしく なりひびいた⋯⋯ この ばしょで つかっても いみが ないようだ⋯⋯」).

If anyone could check DP, I'd appreciate it. サトミュウ (SatoMew) 19:05, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
