The anime Pokedex entry in the article uses the word "priors" which doesn't make sense. I'd edit it myself, but I don't watch the show, so I'll simply suggest that the correct word is probably "briers" and leave it to someone who actually heard the entry on the show to make the correction, if applicable. --[[User:The Almighty Doer of Stuff|The Almighty Doer of Stuff]] 18:58, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Pardon my lack of in-game knowledge, but should skarmory's lighting weakness be less than 400? 70 Sp. defense could be considered mediorce but not as to 400, right?

140 (Def) divided by 70 (Sp.Def) is 2. So the effectiveness of all special moves are doubled, compared to normal moves. - 振霖T 01:00, 23 November 2005 (CST)

Yes, that's correct. If a Fighting move does 30 damage, a Electric move of the same strength (after figuring effects caused by the stats of the attacking Pokémon) is used on Skarmory, it would cause about 120 damage.User142 01:40, 23 November 2005 (CST)

Tail

Maybe I'm just crazy, but Skarmory's tail looks a lot like a bottle opener, like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Opened_Waiters.JPG. Does anyone agree with me and/or think this should be added to the physiology section? Zell65 06:46, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

It kinda does. Not enough to be put in the Physiology section though. - unsigned comment from Asujoll (talkcontribs)

I agree, and I think this should be at least noted somewhere. -Sabre_Justice

shark

anyone notice that his head looks like a shark fin?Ultamatecharizard 17:31, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Fanlist link

Geocities is permanently down, so that "Skarmory fanlist" link is completely useless. I'd remove it myself if the page weren't in lockdown mode. --HeroicJay 23:07, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Removed. --Hiroshiyo 14:59, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Name Origin

Skarmory's name comes from Sky and Armory, as many agree, but Skarmory is possibly based on the word "Scar" as well, people. Skar is basically the same word when said, and if it was named Skymory then it would still have the same meaning as currently stated, so the difference of Skarmory must have the addition of "Scar".

My point being that it's name origin should mention scar as a possibility. Frushil! 12:06, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Tail Changes

Is Skarmory's tail losing one of the blades between Gold and Silver and later games important enough to be added? ----Valkyria (Talk) 20:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Appearance

It's head, neck, and chest rings make it look like an automobile's gear shift & boot (the wrinkly rubber covering the stick goes in).

That's an opinion, and no it doesn't Ataro 05:58, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Minor note about anime Pokedex

The anime Pokedex entry in the article uses the word "priors" which doesn't make sense. I'd edit it myself, but I don't watch the show, so I'll simply suggest that the correct word is probably "briers" and leave it to someone who actually heard the entry on the show to make the correction, if applicable. --The Almighty Doer of Stuff 18:58, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
