I just went to the TV in Platinum and it talked about a 10 foot tall Bellsprout. I don't know if that has anything to do with the Pokemon Size Contest, or if it's even catchable (as I didn't see a route number because I was speeding through the text. until I saw 10 foot Bellsprout anyway. then I paid attention XD), but I definitely felt the need to mention it on here. Can someone shed some light on this? [[User:In A Manica|In A Manica]] 20:31, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

== Pokemon appearance rate for Day Time in Platinum ==
At the moment, the pokemon appearance rate in the grass in this route for the day time is same as morning. I think this highly inaccurate and the rates need to recalculated for day time.
My 50 encounters in this route (in the grass) during day time were as follows:
*Magnemite 4/50
*Magneton 2/50
*Electabuzz 1/50
*Wingull 8/50
*Pelipper 5/50
*Luxio 7/50
*Floatzel 16/50
*Chatot 7/50
Now I understand that as I fight more I will get more accurate appearance rates but there's no way that Electabuzz would appear 1/50 times at 30% enocunter rate and Floatzel would appear 16/50 at 20% enounter rate. However, the level of pokemon were same as in the morning like all Floatzels were level 40, etc.

Pokémon Size Contest

Does this Pokémon ever change, and do the prizes change? If so, at what interval? Does anyone know? I know that I got a Net Ball for showing him a big Remoraid. --Crystal Shards 17:31, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Where do you even get a big Remoraid? Do you just show him a Remoraid? O_o AshDawnBrock 22:19, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

I imagine it would be something to do with the personality value or some other hidden data. —darklordtrom 03:04, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Big Pokemon

I just went to the TV in Platinum and it talked about a 10 foot tall Bellsprout. Rich Boy Trey

The page doesn't show it, but Trey can be rematched to use a higher levelled Luxray. I would fix it myself, but I don't know how to get the Vs. Seeker icon next to his name. Hurricane 21:19, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Pokemon appearance rate for Day Time in Platinum

At the moment, the pokemon appearance rate in the grass in this route for the day time is same as morning. I think this highly inaccurate and the rates need to recalculated for day time.

My 50 encounters in this route (in the grass) during day time were as follows:

  • Magnemite 4/50
  • Magneton 2/50
  • Electabuzz 1/50
  • Wingull 8/50
  • Pelipper 5/50
  • Luxio 7/50
  • Floatzel 16/50
  • Chatot 7/50

Now I understand that as I fight more I will get more accurate appearance rates but there's no way that Electabuzz would appear 1/50 times at 30% enocunter rate and Floatzel would appear 16/50 at 20% enounter rate. However, the level of pokemon were same as in the morning like all Floatzels were level 40, etc.
