Character of the day

I don't think shota is going to be a one time character, cause an opening would not show a character of the day following the footsteps of the main character. - unsigned comment from Upratik 12 (talkcontribs)

While I agree with you, we cannot start jumping to conclusions. Mega V (Volt) showed Mabel, who, while important to the Korrina arc, only appeared in one episode. Since we do not count Sanpei as a major recurring character, we should set the benchmark at three episodes. - Chosen of Mana 15:30, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
Character of the day is a one episode character. So if he appears again then he is not a CoTD. We just have to wait and be patient. And while the opening does imply he will appear again, CoTD have appeared in openings before. --HoennMaster 19:48, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
I am not telling CoTD have not appeared earlier, but an exclusive scene following footsteps of a main character, maybe a hint for a big future event in the anime, well anyways lets wait for a few episodes Upratik 12 (talk) 05:17, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Per Chosen and HoennMaster. While Shota shows an extremely important role in the opening, he appears once only, still, and there is no any evidence showing him as an important character in the series at this moment. Just wait. Raymond 12:56, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Bagon moves: Flamethrower

In XY073, I think Bagon used Flamethrower. It did not look like a Fire Fang and looked more like a Flamethrower. Am I correct? StephenWalker97 (talk) 15:29, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

I also thought the same thing, cause Bagon was at a distance when the flame was out and it was looking like flamethrower --Pratik_12 Talk 15:32, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
I've added it. StephenWalker97 (talk) 17:28, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Shōta commanded it to use Fire Fang and the flames came out in the shape of a mouth/jaw, so no, it was not Flamethrower. Playerking95 (talk) 02:47, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Treecko Page

Just wondering if after the airing of XY075 whether there'll be a proper page for Treecko as it will be its 4th episode BigDocFan (talk)

Pattyman is working on it here in his userspace. --Abcboy (talk) 14:23, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Is it possible to put Treecko own page he has shown his personality Treecko endurance and stamina is very strange to me. In their double battle he was easily defeated by Ash Frogadier but in their second battle Treecko shown to take more attacks so this could be that Treecko wants to win against Frogadier meaning he wants to get even. So I'm guessing Treecko wants to show Ash Frogadier that he is great fighter. That will expalin what made Treecko evolved to proof to Ash Frogadier and his Trainer passion to become great battler.--SilverioBOMB (talk) 06:36, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Should we take the dub's word for it that Treecko used Mega Drain instead of Razor Leaf?

The article for canon states that: "The Japanese version of the anime supersedes any and all dubs if there is conflict between them, unless the dub corrects an obvious error." Treecko using Razor Leaf was an obvious error, since Treecko can't learn that move and hasn't used that move anywhere besides that episode, even in the anime. Technickal (talk) 02:21, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

Grovyle Page

Should we add Grovyle's page now? Since its Scottie's main Pokémon and set to appear in future episodes, its been in four episodes and played a major part in two of them and its evolved. StephenWalker97 (talk) 15:58, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

There's a user working on it in their userspace at the moment. I think the next appearance would be a good time to mainspace the page. --Pokemaster97 23:09, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

Can we make it official page it had 4eps already i think its good enough. or is it 5episodes to make official pages.--SilverioBOMB (talk) 04:28, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Scottie/Sawyer

Should Scottie still redirect here? It seems kind of pointless to me since the only time he was called Scottie in the English dub was from the captions in XY064. AGGRON989 18:09, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

It should. It's still a name that was given to him, and many people still know him as Scottie. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 09:55, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

So why was this originally Scottie? --リックEO (メッセージ) 11:20, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

I checked. In Italy, he is called 「Scottie」. I guess like someone mistook his name once, and it might get much general. What do you think? --ANMZK (talk) 11:39, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
It was originally Scottie because he made an appearance in XY064 and the closed captions in the English dub referred to him as Scottie. The name was changed when he appeared again later. AGGRON989 12:33, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
So when articles here are written, closed-captioning always takes priority over the audio? --リックEO (メッセージ) 11:45, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't think he was referred to by name in XY064, so the captions took precedence over the non-existent audio. --Abcboy (talk) 12:04, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

English voice actor

It's Robby Duncan Sharpe. I sent an e-mail to Theresa Buchheister, the current voice director, and got this as a response. Technickal (talk) 20:31, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Great! Now this page can be unlocked. --リックEO (メッセージ) 23:58, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
Link/Image please. Don't just say it, show it.--ForceFire 03:20, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

Was that ok to add info for Sawyer Bagon

I will think that attack was too easy to defeat Bagon.

Bagon had fought against Ash Pokemon. That proves that Sawyer Bagon is pretty strong Pokemon as it was able to stay in battle longer then Sawyer Treecko. Also can we add its Rock Head is pretty tough enough to take Ash Hawlucha multiple Karate Chops attacks.

I know fairy types moves are super effective against dragon types but i think Bagon can take that attack. --SilverioBOMB (talk) 04:42, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Opinion.--ForceFire 04:56, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Oh sorry ForceFIre this post to be on the fourms right im feel so barras --SilverioBOMB (talk) 22:38, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Sceptile & Mega Sceptile confirmed for Sawyer

The new Opening for the "XY&Z" has confirmed that Sawyer would get Sceptile and eventually a Mega Sceptile in the future. This means that its time to lock this article up until it actually happens.--LatS (talk) 12:29, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Is it possible to just semi protect it and see if anyone does try to add it. I don't see a point in blocking a relevant page for an indefinite amount of time.--Rahl (talk) 12:37, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
I've semi protected it for now. Doesn't need a full protection unless someone decides to continually add it.--ForceFire 12:39, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Can we make a page for Grovyle now?

He's appeared plenty of times and we know he's going to appear again to evolve and then mega evolve. Nutter Butter (talk) 17:58, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

I agree with this. It seems like it's appeared enough.-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 01:10, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
It's definitely more notable than Bagon and Slurpuff. - PokémonGamer* 01:29, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
I have the page on my userspace. PattyMan 01:35, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

i agreed i agreed with you both should we. I think so but its really up to you to. Love to read it. Grovile even shown to be annoy of his trainer lack of speed chasing asher the Dodrio. --SilverioBOMB (talk) 01:51, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

sorry not you to I mean you two.--SilverioBOMB (talk) 01:52, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Accidentally created the Sawyer's Grovyle redirect. We're going to have to delete that when we move Pattyman's page to mainspace. - PokémonGamer* 02:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
That's alright. At least it didn't fully evolve yet. PattyMan 02:35, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

So is it possible to make this the official page or we need one more episode--SilverioBOMB (talk) 03:59, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Probably one more episode (possibly when it fully evolves). Bear with us, it will be created, don't worry. We just need to have a little more info than what we have currently. --リックEO (メッセージ) 04:33, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

this will be so cool to this offical page i cant wait but i was wondering what about Tierno blastiose we seen it many episodes like 6-7epiosdes. --SilverioBOMB (talk) 20:38, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

Same goes for Tierno's Blastoise. It needs to have more significance and details before a page can be created. -リックEO (メッセージ) 05:01, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Official artwork

Can somebody add this? [1]

Oneofthosedf (talk) 01:50, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

It's fanart, not official artwork. Kai * the Arc Toraph 09:08, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

Aegislash/Salamence?

Just curious, do Aegislash and Salamence rate their own pages? I would say evidence in favor is, although they are obviously not Sawyer's main battler (that honor belonging to his Sceptile), we have seen both of them in all three of their evolution stages (respectively), and they have both used way more than 4 moves. If not, what are the requirements for notability for a character's Pokemon to rate their own pages? Again, just seeking clarification. I know that I have seen a policy somewhere on this before in the past, I just do not, for the life of me, remember where. So if someone could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 06:21, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Notability requirements.--ForceFire 06:31, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Thank you very much, Force Fire! I appreciate that, and will remember for the future that, for Rivals, it is only their signature Pokemon (so in Sawyer's case, his Sceptile). ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 15:57, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Well, not necesserily the rival's signature Pokemon. If the Pokemon in question has had a range of roles outside of battles, they often warrant a page i.e Gary's Arcanine and Bianca's Minccino. Of course the inverse is true, where Miette's Slurpuff and Nini's Smoochum, despite being the respective 'main' Pokemon of their trainers, don't have there own pages because they have done very little outside of various showcases. So while Salamance and Aegislash have been used in many battles, they are not exceedingly notable as they haven't done anything else. Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 10:35, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

Slaking

Did anyone ever explicitly state Slaking had the ability Truant? It knows the move Namakeru, but I never heard Namake get mentioned. - Chosen of Mana 15:14, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
