--- Ahh, I've not had a rematch. lol, don't understand japanese so It's easier in platinum where their are certain Gym Leaders in the battle place without any requirements like phone numbers. --[[User:Jono R|Jono R]] 08:41, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Why is the Electric Tale of Pikachu stuff under Misc? Shouldn't that have its own entry? It doesn't seem fair that Special gets its own heading and the other mangas don't, especially when they require length like this. I can see cramming it under Misc if it's just a line or two (ie, the two references under Koga's entry), but for an entry with detail, they should have their own heading.--BJG

You can easily fix that yourself, you know. Ketsuban 16:43, 9 Aug 2005 (CDT)

Sabrina's appearance in Pokémon Special

In which volumes does Sabrina appear? --nYoo 00:37, 9 Aug 2005 (CEST)

Sabrina owning a Hitmonlee

Wouldn’t it be more likely that Otoshi got his badge from the Fighting Dojo before it lost its Gym status? IIMarckus 00:26, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

There's several theories about different variants of the 27 known Kanto badges in the anime on the Badge page, including some of Otoshi's badges. --Shiningpikablu252 00:27, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Considering how the Marsh Badge was shown in that particular scene during the flashback, I doubt it was a different gym he accessed. Also, I'm pretty sure the Fighting Gym would have had their own badge (The Marsh Badge, or the Soul Badge as it was originally going to be called, wasn't exactly a "Fighting" kind of Badge, it's more closely linked to Psychic types.). Weedle Mchairybug 00:42, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
What do you think is more likely? That the Fighting Gym used Marsh Badges, or that Sabrina had a Hitmonlee-a Pokemon that Kiyo of the Fighting Dojo is known to have? When looking at the badge, I don't see anything obviously Psychic about it. Furthermore, I could see the word "Soul" being used for a Fighting badge. Alakazam17 2:18, 28 November 2008
You make a valid point, but this is all really just specualtion. And I can see soul for fighting.DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))

But it's BS, so I erased it, considering Hitmonlee would need to bond with her telepathically--KukiTalk 19:22, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

So, I guess that Haunter must be removed as well then? I mean, if you want to remove [Hitmonlee] due to it not having a bond with her telepathically, then Haunter should also be removed due to the fact that it also isn't able to form a telepathic bond with it (It's a ghost/poison type, not a Psychic type.). Weedle Mchairybug 00:27, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Not to mention that the badges in the background didn't have to fit the battles which Otoshi won. I mean, the fact that Marsh Badge was shown in the background when showing a battle with Hitmonlee doesn't have to mean that he was fighting Hitmonlee was for Marsh Badge. It could be a different battle. --Maxim 19:23, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the Volcano Badge Background matched perfectly (We do know that Blaine owns a Magmar.). Also, he was talking about how he had strived hard to get the badges, fought the gym leaders through huge trials, which also implies that the battle was indeed against Sabrina (and thus, the Hitmonlee was indeed hers.). If you don't want to list it as her pokemon, can we at least list it as "status unknown"? Weedle Mchairybug 00:26, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Weedle. I mean, what's wrong in putting Hitmonlee as "status unknown". There is still a possibility it belongs to her since Magmar was also shown with the Volcano Badge in the very same flashback. Jmath 02:22, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Badges do not expire. Someone had to be the Gym Leader of Saffron City before her. That could have been the Fighting Dojo people, but we don't know for sure. What evidence do you have that Otoshi fought Sabrina for his Marsh Badge? None! That could have been anyone... her father, perhaps; maybe even Kiyo. We don't know if he even battled Sabrina or not, so there is not even enough proof to say that the Hitmonlee was her's to begin with. He could have faced any number of people with a Hitmonlee, it wasn't necesarily Sabrina, because they can't be Gym Leaders forever. Someone was before her...it isn't always going to be Sabrina handing out the Badge. Maylene started six months before Ash met her... Koga is no longer the gym leader for his gym... and Giovanni was no longer the leader either. It could have been someone else's. MaverickNate 02:32, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Big difference, Saffron City had TWO Gyms (one was the Fighting Dojo), those GLs that you mentioned had either inherited the same gym [Maylene, Janine], or got promoted [Gary/Blue]. In the case of Sabrina, the Saffron Gym beat out the Fighting Dojo for the Position of becoming a Gym Leader (and since Gyms have different badges, the Fighting Dojo is bound to have a different badge as well.), so technically, She IS the first Gym Leader of the NEW Saffron Gym to have existed (the original gym, the Fighting Dojo, was beaten out.). Weedle Mchairybug 02:41, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
How do you know that the Badge didn't just transfer over? If one beat out the other, they might have just taken the Fighting Dojo's badge, and used it for the Saffron Gym's. All we are doing is naming "ifs" and "buts" that aren't even true and are complete speculation. We have no proof what-so-ever that the Hitmonlee was her's. If it isn't true, it shouldn't be put in the article. MaverickNate 02:47, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Because, theres far more badges in kanto than in the games (It ranges between 27 badges, and over 100 badges), In order to fit all of these badges into the region, there needs to be more than 100 towns (which, even for the Anime's expanded version of Kanto, that's too much for the region.), I mean, we already have 33 Towns (counting the in-game towns), and even then, two of these towns are actually already part of another town (HopHopHop town and Scissors Street are all districts of Celadon City), which would make 31 towns total. In order for these 100 badges to exist in all 31 known cities, they need to do repeats (meaning, there needs to be more than one official town in the anime.), so, that means that, in the Anime, The Fighting Dojo, has to have another badge from the Marsh Badge. Weedle Mchairybug 03:05, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Since when do Gyms need to be in towns? They don't need to be in a town to be considered a gym. Just because all of the ones we know of are in cities and towns, doesn't mean they all are. Do you have any proof that they have to be? I do not think they have to, and that reasoning does not mean The Fighting Dojo has to have another badge from the Marsh Badge. Again, saying all these if statements doesn't get us anywhere. We have no proof that the Hitmonlee was hers, so it doesn't get to be in the article. MaverickNate 03:20, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
For all we know, there'll be an official Dark-type gym located smack dab in the middle of Route 308 in the country wherever Generation V takes place. Sure, I don't think this whole "100 gyms in anime Kanto" is an accurate figure, but the possibility of gyms on highways always exists...--Shiningpikablu252 04:43, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Seriously, no one is saying Hitmonlee does belong to Sabrina. Its just a possibility. It should be mentioned at least that Sabrina may have owned it. By making no mention of it, it's as if we know its 100% confirmed she doesn't have it. Since its not confirmed it should be in Status unknown. Jmath 05:19, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Another thing, just because the Fighting Dojo was in the games does NOT mean that it's in the Anime. If I must point out, they never even once referred to a Saffron Dojo, never mind it's being beaten by Saffron Gym. Another thing, a gym does NOT use the same badge as another gym, plus the Marsh badge doesn't even refer to Fighting Pokemon, it's referring to Psychic Pokemon. And just because it's not a Psychic type does NOT mean that it can't belong to Sabrina. If I must remind you, Koga also owned several Voltorb, which definitely would not be Poison types fitting for the gym, and Blaine has a Rhydon, which isn't a fire type at all. The Viridian Gym only utilized one Rock/Ground combination in each battle (ok, technically, Rhydon is Ground/Rock, but still), with the rest of the pokemon being a Psychic type, two water types, a psychic type, and two poison types) Weedle Mchairybug 02:47, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: ok, I guess there's Pasta La Vista Baby in regards to the Saffron Dojo, but they definitely never mentioned the whole issue involving them being defeated by Saffron Gym. In fact, one can argue that the Anime implies that it never was an official Gym in the first place.

Sabrina as Evil?

Would you consider Sabrina to have been a temporary antagonist? DarkGiratina 19:13, 31 January 2009 (UTC)DarkGiratina

In the anime? Wouldn't the same be true for all Gym Leaders, seeing as they stand in the way of Ash's goals? — THE TROM — 20:24, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I think he's referring to the fact that Sabrina turned her mom and Ash's friends into dolls. But I don't think she qualifies as an antagonist. --ケンジガール 20:34, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Her hair is dark green?

According to her FR/LG offical art(which is a different color from her others),it doesn't look very greenish. I don't remember the name of the color, but it doesn't look greenish. Lovely Rose 02:42, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, what's with the statement that her "official" hair colour is dark green? The ONLY place I see her hair being green at all is in the anime. Capsule Computer 09:44, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
It still doesn't look green. It seems like a mixture of blue and green, it's similar to game!Dawn's hair color(Navy blue) but lighter. Lovely Rose 02:37, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
