About trainers

Whoever's adding trainers should note that the trainer battles are different for the first trip on the boat (when you get the Metal Coat, going to Vermilion City). Also, is there a way to get rid of the Pokegear Phone disclaimer, as it doesn't apply in this case? IIMarckus 04:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

I battled them multiple times. They're the same Pokémon. There was the trainer with the Cloyster, Octillery, and their pre-evos, and I still remembered them as the same. I COULD check again for confirmation though. ^ht14 18:23, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that does seem to be the case. The only reason to take the SS Aqua after that in HGSS is to get the random plates--Oatzy 14:50, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

This is the case for me too. I'm not really complaining though, since on the olivine-to-vermilion trip there's a trainer you can't avoid running right in front of to get to the captain for your plate and it's nice not to have to fight him again and again. --Toksyuryel 10:51, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Image switch

Under the "Items" section, we should have that style-switcher thing (like on Arceus' page) that changes the plate image every hour or so, because the plate changes randomly everyday. Takharii ~ Talk! 05:59, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
