It seems to me that the Effects section shared by this page, {{m|Psystrike}} and {{m|Secret Sword}} overcomplicates matters, forcing it to be much wordier than necessary. Instead of saying "''<move> inflicts physical damage''", then needing to explain that, then going into all the exceptions... couldn't we just say "''<move> calculates damage using the opponent's Defense stat. It is otherwise treated as a special move.''" and leave it at that? [[User:Pumpkinking0192|Pumpkinking0192]] ([[User talk:Pumpkinking0192|talk]]) 17:47, 26 June 2017 (UTC)

Suggestion

It seems to me that the Effects section shared by this page, Psystrike and Secret Sword overcomplicates matters, forcing it to be much wordier than necessary. Instead of saying "<move> inflicts physical damage", then needing to explain that, then going into all the exceptions... couldn't we just say "<move> calculates damage using the opponent's Defense stat.
