I was told when making an edit with the missing pokemon that it was removed because the book only contains Pokemon that are from Diamon and Pearl. Well you can get magnezone etc. in Diamond and Pearl but Magnezone is not in the handbook so why is Magnezone said to not be from Diamond and Pearl.

I was told that the reason Pokemon such as Magnezone are not in the Sinnoh Handbook because they are exclusive to Platinum, However Magnezone Etc. are in Diamond and Pearl and are not in the Sinnoh Handbook. So why can't I say that they are excluded from this handbook. 4Corry 8/17/2016

The article says: "Though the Pokémon are supposed to be listed in alphabetical order, Steelix and Spiritomb are listed before Staraptor." But Spiritomb actually does come before Staraptor in alphabetical order. - unsigned comment from KurowaSan (talkcontribs)

True, I'll fix that. --ZestyCactus 23:39, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Changed my Edit

I was told that the reason Pokemon such as Magnezone are not in the Sinnoh Handbook because they are exclusive to Platinum, However Magnezone Etc. are in Diamond and Pearl and are not in the Sinnoh Handbook. So why can't I say that they are excluded from this handbook. - unsigned comment from 4Corry (talkcontribs)

As the article says: "[This book] served as a paper form of the Sinnoh Pokédex from Diamond and Pearl".
This is the Sinnoh Pokedex: List of Pokémon by Sinnoh Pokédex number (what the book is about). Note that List of Pokémon by Sinnoh Pokédex number#Platinum expansion is the Pokemon that were added in Platinum, and though Magnemite is in that section, it is not anywhere else. Magnemite is not in the D/P Pokedex (again: what the book is about).
You can only get Magnemite in Diamond and Pearl from swarms, and you can only find swarms after you get the National Pokedex. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:57, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
