I only put that due to the fact that those things are acting a lot like the VS cards, which were in turn all printed as Basic so that they wouldn't have to run two or three sets of ''just'' Gym Leader cards every generation. Regarding their status as a replacement
I only put that due to the fact that those things are acting a lot like the VS cards, which were in turn all printed as Basic so that they wouldn't have to run two or three sets of just Gym Leader cards every generation.
