Move?

I'm confused about this article. There is no "Player's House" page or disambiguation page, nor is there a "Player's House (Johto)" or "Player's House (Hoenn)" or any other article that would require "Kanto" disambiguation in the title. This article is more about Red's House or Leaf's House than anything. Therefore, I suggest a move to "Red's House". - poikins 07:40, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Personally, I think this would be better as a general home article, like bedroom and hometown, and be about all of the players' homes. --SnorlaxMonster 07:47, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

So then it might be better to merge this article with Bedroom and migrate over the Player's House sections from each Hometown page. And move it to simply "Player's House". - poikins 07:56, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Looking at the bedroom article, it seems like it can hold its own article, so there can just be a {{main}} link to it from this page. There aren't really any player's house sections on the hometown page anyway. Also, I prefer the name home, but if we do use the other name, it should be capitalized player's house. --SnorlaxMonster 08:10, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

I feel that if Home is used, then a {{search}} tag should be included for Hometown and vice versa. Player's House would not require a {{search}} tag. Either way, information on each generation's player's house/home could be ripped straight from the town pages, like Pallet Town, New Bark Town, etc. since they each already have a Player's House subheading and we could just {{main}} link it here on those pages. - poikins 18:37, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

With the additions I did to the article, this move doesn't make sense anymore. There's a lot of information to give this article a right to exist on its own. We'd rather create similar articles for Ethan's/Kris'/Lyra's house, Brendan's/May's house, Lucas'/Dawn's house, Hilbert's/Hilda's house and Nate's/Rosa's house. And perhaps move the stuff from the bedroom articles here, since these include the bedrooms. SatoMew 22:28, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Triva addition

Why don't we put in the fad "your mom sleeps in the kitchen" because there is only one bed and thats upstairs in your room, plus you don't have a couch. HoennRemake (talk) 15:04, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Delete

This page is just a description of the bedroom and the living room in each generation. Nothing about that is especially notable.

The living room seems quite pointless to me. So does the bedroom, honestly, but since there's a page for that, that stuff can go there. There's nothing all that special about Red's house for it to deserve an article like this. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:51, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Look at it this way: if no one is commenting, apparently no one especially cares that it be kept.

Tell me this: do you actually think a generic player's house page would be notable, and how? Or are you just parroting the idea from above and maybe didn't give it that much thought?
