Japanese Voice Artist

Are we quite sure that Ikue Ohtani provided the voice for Pikachutwo? It doesn't sound like the same voice as Ash's Pikachu, and Pikachutwo seems to have the same voice artist for Mewtwo Strikes Back and Mewtwo Returns. --K I P | Talk 00:02, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

She could just be deepening her voice for a meaner sounding Pikachu actually. Ironically Pikachutwo is not listed on her page as a character she voiced on here. Frozen Fennec
'Deepening'? :S I always thought 'two has a lighter-sounding voice than Pikachu. --K I P | Talk 12:50, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Is Pikachutwo actually caught by someone? Shouldn't it be "doubt"? --SimonOrJ 22:24, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

No. He was created by Mewtwo and that's all. Ataro 22:47, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

What games?--SandmanDP 18:18, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

It appears in Pokémon Puzzle League. I would add it myself, but I've never played the game. I've only seen a screenshot that shows Pikachutwo with Mewtwo and the others. XVuvuzela2010X 18:20, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Fair enough. Never played Puzzle League either...--SandmanDP 18:23, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

[Pause it at 0:23], I see Pikachutwo and the others. Is it notable? Frozen Fennec 05:06, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Then again, maybe just appearing once in a background image isn't worth making a new section on the Pikachutwo page. Frozen Fennec 14:11, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Shouldn't DoubleSlap be listed as one of Pikachutwo's moves? I mean he slapped Ash's Pikachu multiple times. Plus Pikachu are capable of learning the move, as well as others they shouldn't

I know wiki's are good about playing the "no that's speculation...ect" card, but Mewtwo's article lists him using Shadow Ball despite it not being around in that generation. I mean technically, Mewtwo just used a generic dark colored energy ball. Yamitora1 17:28, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

But wasn't it stated that the Pokémon stopped using actual moves during the battle?--Den Zen 17:44, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
where?Yamitora1 17:50, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Mewtwo said that he disabled the Pokémon's moves in the first movie.--Den Zen 18:01, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
I'll check it out, looks like my vcr is going be dusted off.
Still I'm pretty sure what Pikachutwo does, does count as a move. I vaguely remember a article listing wing attack as a move when all the Pokémon did was just dismiss a weaker Pokémon with a light swat or push using its wing. Yamitora1 18:12, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
I watched the movie. If you take what Mewtwo says about blocking their special abilities with his psychic powers, then only special type moves are effected. ie: no fire, water or electric. DoubleSlap is a physical move. Yamitora1 19:26, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
OK, here's some things: 1. We don't know that Mewtwo blocked only Special moves. 2. Actually, we don't say that a Pokémon knows Wing Attack if it just swats with its wing. Here are some other examples which prove that only confirmed moves are listed. 3. Ash's Pikachu doesn't know DoubleSlap and it's only learnable as an egg move Generation II onwards. These facts should be enough to not add it.--Den Zen 20:08, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Pikachu knows/can do lots of moves they shouldn't know. according to his anime article, Mewtwo uses shadow ball despite it not being around at the time Yamitora1 20:21, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
We shouldn't list it as a move, unless it's really obvious, if it was never stated. --ケンジガール 20:25, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
how about it be listed as an improvised move? I'm not trying to be difficult, but mewtwo stated he would Block their special powers with his psychic abilities it was never stated he used disable at all. plus disable is normal move. so technically disable should be removed from his list. Yamitora1 20:34, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Ash's Charizard article lists two improvised moves, so listing it as an improvised move isn't a bizarre new idea. also in the anime Pikachu improvises moves all the time. Yamitora1 20:48, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
But its improvised moves have the base of a real move. If we aren't sure this is even a move, it really can't be an improvised move. Though, I personally believe we are too lenient on what we consider improvised moves around here.
In this case, it sounds more like it would fit here. --ケンジガール 20:54, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
What move are we talking about putting there, P2's possible double slap, mewtwo's psychic disable or the charizard moves? I would agree to either. Also what about Mewtwo's "disable" he said he would Block their special powers with his psychic abilities but disable is normal and I kind of recall a Poképokemon using psychic to keep a Pokéball shut. so psychic can be used in ways not intended. (also do we have to indent every post? lol) - unsigned comment from Yamitora1 (talkcontribs)

Pikachu's DoubleSlap. As that's the topic here. --ケンジガール 21:10, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

ok, sorry, I've been up 24 hours, so I'm not 100% So we'll add it there. Yamitora1 21:15, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

When was it said that Pikachutwo is male? Don't tell me how it's because of Pikachu being male, because in other fictions clones can be of the opposite gender. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 22:43, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

You have to take into consideration that this is not "other fictions", so the fact that clones could be a different gender in the example you linked doesn't necessarily apply here. Regardless, from what I understand, the clones Mewtwo created were (near) perfect genetic clones of the originals, and thus the genders would be the same. "Slurred speech"

That doesn't sound slurred at all. It does sound different, but it doesn't slur its words. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 18:50, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
