Anime-exclusive

To clarify what I said in my edit summary, manga series based on the anime (The Electric Tale of Pikachu, Ash & Pikachu, and the movie manga adaptations) are not taken into consideration when we say that a Trainer class, a battle variation, a character, or a location are exclusive to the anime. That is the reason why "Orange Crew Supreme Gym Leader" is treated as an anime-exclusive Trainer class despite EToP, LaRousse City as an anime-exclusive location despite having been featured in Destiny Deoxys, Contest Battle as an anime-exclusive battle variation despite their existence in the Ash & Pikachu manga, and so forth. --Mikuri 00:51, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

I am not saying it's not exclusive because it's used in something outside of the anime.
The problem, in short, comes from identifying it with the anime at all. It's not "anime-exclusive" because "Orange Crew Supreme Gym Leader" simply isn't used in the anime. That's the whole point of the trivia piece you were arguing about before. It's simply nonsensical for the trivia to say that no title of any sort is actually used in the anime, but for the intro to say it's anime-exclusive. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:02, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Oh I get it now. Thanks. --Mikuri 02:00, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
