Pokemon Farm Channel

It appers to be a storage system too.--PkmnSilver

We don't have proof of that, so...--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 16:59, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Farm or Ranch

The article is titled Pokémon Farm Channel but i also heard it being called Pokémon Ranch Channel . As you can see there is some confusion . While i tend to believe it's Ranch because of the setting as in the landscape and the Mii's clothing i'm not sure wether to move the article or not .Richardson j 02:33, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

牧場 is literally "livestock farm," so I guess Ranch is just as correct. Maybe even more correct, because ranches are specifically just animals and a simple "farm" doesn't clarify the "animals only" thing.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 18:51, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Well you point makes sense and like what you point out above makes sense to me .Richardson j 13:14, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

US release?

No way to get this in the US, is there? LostDrewid 12:10, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Once WiiWare comes out here (I think it's this month) it'll be out. TTEchidna 14:15, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

well actually this is incorrect through Nintendo channel they say that the new games are coming out the 12th and I've heard many other rumors I'm pretty sure they are releasing it with the other games as well that they released in japan but.... that could be just my imagination. We will all find out Monday

Arr I'm really upset with Nintendo right now. Well according to my sources (the Nintendo shop channel)they had a info saying they will update the channel every Monday. With usual actions Nintendo should release it on either the 19th or the 26th. Because of the fact serebii said that in Europe it is supposed to be released on the 30th of May. and knowing Nintendo they always release in the US before Europe. Therefor supposedly it should be released on the following times and dates... Oh another thing is because in the US it's for all of north America the furthest point in Canada is +4 hours or Atlantic Slandered Time. Also the start of a business day is at 10 A.m. I found out that it is 5 A.m. Pacific time... I do strange things in my head if I'm motivated enough without my meds...

Always in the US before Europe? Last I heard, Box was released in Europe before the US. And given how Ranch is basically a stripped-down Box (with much of the good stuff removed), Europe before US just might happen with Ranch...--Shiningpikablu252 20:24, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

US

Monday, 26th

2 A.m. Bering time

3 A.m. Alaska Time

4 A.m. Yukon Time

5 A.m. Pacific Time

6 A.m. Mountain Time

7 A.m. Central Time

8 A.m. Eastern Time

9 A.m. New found Time

10 A.m. Atlantic Time

And I have no clue for Europe time but it should be the farthest part of Europe at 10 A.m. on the 30th of May...

That is my results.... Oh also if you guys want to check this out here is a link to the official site here is a link but currently it only links back to the Nintendo official website... [www.pokemonranch.com] - unsigned comment from Kittenchild (talkcontribs)

It is released In the US today (June 9) Bobert 00:03, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

EU release

is it tomorrow?--lord mada 18:54, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

As of the time of this post: PEGI (EU GAMEs Censor Board) has NOT got a record of the game. But since there are games not present on both Nintendo's List and PEGI's List. It's unlikely, but possible. Big Nutter 22:32, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm sure your all already aware but EU release is 04/07/08 PhantomCX 14:04, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Block Cost?

How many blocks of Wii System Memory does this take up? I need to know for when it's released here. Gywall(Talk) 17:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

I downloaded it today, and it was only about 120 or so. --Ozzie 04:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
123 to be precise. - PDL

Where is here, exactly?--KukiTalk 23:28, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

UK, Europe? If it's not released.. I'm going to not be able to do anything soon. Gywall(Talk) 09:49, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

..What?

What does the octillery have to do with Pokémon Ranch?

Apparently, it was given in Ranch in Japan. I don't know how though. tc26 09:30, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Well someone should say something about that.. I have no idea about ti, so not me.. But.. It looks out of place. Evan 22:12, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Help?

Does anyone know how to fix the tables of the Pokémon with less than 4 attacks, like Combee and Wynaut? tc26 01:07, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Problems needed Adressing

  1. Page is useing the RSE pokeball sprite. A D/P pokeball sprite should be used since this is a GenIV game.
  2. Slight problems with Whynaut's table.

--Lego3400 02:41, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

They look like Gen IV ball sprites to me... Also, Wynaut's table seems fine to me. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 03:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I saw the problem with Wynaut, and fixed it. Don't know anything about the balls, though. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 03:09, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Not a sprite: Sugimori art. No DP art has been released for it yet, so the "sprite" stays. It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links12:50 29 Jun 2008

Club Look-See?

I realize that it was me that put the section up on this page but should there be more info with it? [[UserTalk:Rucario64]] 22:38, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Since the club has their own article, the info should go there rather than on this page. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 23:08, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Your right. Shouold I just delete the section or will someone else do that? [[User:Rucario64]] 01:20, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
It should probably be replaced with a paragraph on the various features of the ranch that includes a link to the article on the club. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:28, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
What is the club, an in game thing? or something people are running?? Also, after depositing does it actually take them out of your game, or just copy them across? Keirou 18:04, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Club Look-See is a series of other ranches you can visit in-game. Each one specializes in only one type of evolution family. When depositing Pokémon, they are removed from the game cards. Only the same game can withdraw them back. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 18:11, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Hayley Trading

If you turn down a trade, will there be another chance to get it?

Lovely Place

There is this location known as Lovely Place. Should we add this, as in a location?ht14 01:18, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree with adding a page on the Lovely Place. Or is it that we don't know anything about it...? And, yes. If you turn down a trade, there will be another chance to get the same one.

need more lists

where are all the lists?!! we have hundreds of other lists. but nothing about pokémon ranch. a list of toys, stats, or possibly other stuff will be nice!Whatswithalltheextraspace 23:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC) you typed in "lovely place" twice.Whatswithalltheextraspace 23:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Wait

Is it Platinum compatible?????--KukiTalk 23:10, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Not as-is, but they're releasing a patch. People who download it after the patch's release get the patched version; people who did it before can get the patch for free. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 23:12, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
My guess that They will have a version ready soon after each Location's Release. The biggest thing to be aware of is that US Platimum games won't work with UK Wii's Ranch until the UK Platinum date. Big Nutter 23:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Ah OK. It's funny, someone who lost ll of his DS compatible games can remember to ask that, but ones who have em don't. And I'm sorry about the Sniper yelling. Shoulda done my research first--KukiTalk 23:17, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

How about someone who doesn't even have any post-GBC Pokémon games is the one who knows the answer?
Anyway, 's cool. Don't worry about it. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 23:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

A Couple Problems

1. Wanted Pokémon "[I]f one trainer deposits a Pokémon that is on another's wanted list, nothing will happen." This is an incorrect statement. According to my personal experience, depositing a Pokémon Hayley has asked another player to find removes it from the wanted list and causes Hayley to say something like " Oh! A [Pokémon species]! I think [Player Asked Name] was looking for one of these." In addition I have never had Hayley offer a trade from someone else's wanted Pokémon. 2. Hayley's Trades "Whenever the player brings in one of the "Wanted Pokémon", Hayley will offer to trade one of her Pokémon for it"... It is only occasionally that Hayley will offer to trade you a Pokémon for your wanted Pokémon. I don't know if it's truly random or there is something in particular that triggers her trade offers, but they only seem to happen once in a while.----Podunk 11:32, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Theif!

I deposited all of my Pokémon into my Ranch game. When I brought them back to Diamond, I found that I was missing a few Pokémon. The only ones I've noticed are missing are Meganium & Manaphy. They aren't on my Diamond and they aren't on the Ranch anymore! But I'm too afraid to put any Pokémon back on the Ranch now. I fear she'll take more. Has anyone else had this happen?!--Pokelova 19:54, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Second update

The Platinum update hasn't been released outside Japan so far but we already know that a second update is coming as well, in order to add compatibility with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pokemon lover 20:46, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Got proof for that? They could just as well implement a new game. — THE TROM — 20:52, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Well, I don't have proof but it seems logical to me. I mean, Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire is compatible with all Gen III games so it makes sense if My Pokémon Ranch will be compatible with all Gen IV games. Pokemon lover 21:04, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Technically, we don't know if a second update is actually necessary. For all we know, the first update may have added HGSS compatability and nobody outside the development and publishing crews know it yet. --Shiningpikablu252 21:21, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
This is a little old but I'm starting to think that they may only release the Platinum update (considering it has HGSS support as well) outside of Japan only when HGSS has been released in Europe, which is a few months away. =S Pokemon lover 17:33, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Hayley and Floppy in Contest

I think this is a pure coincidence. Could someone check what's that Hayley's name in Japanese? If it's not Yukari, then it means a coincidence. I bet 10 smackers on that. --Maxim 10:29, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

That's not necessarily the case. It could be just a reference on the part of the translators that wasn't included in the Japanese release. Either way, I couldn't really tell you, though... Gear-Richie 19:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Connecting?

How'd the Japanese connect to My Pokemon Ranch via Platinum if it doesn't give a wireless signal upon going past the title screen like Diamond and Pearl? LightDeoxys 16:15, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Platinum does emit a wireless signal on the start menu, which is how it connects to PBR. It just shrugs the player off with "Diamond and Pearl version only" if you attempt to connect it to Ranch. Raylax 14:43, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Question

If a Pokémon came from a special place or is level 100, they will sparkle in a green and blue hue, respectively. What if the Pokémon fits both needs? ht14 20:07, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
