Also, in case you might be misunderstanding me, I dont want to put this in the physiology section, instead I want to put it under trivia. It fits better there.--[[User:Yunophobia|Yunophobia]] 00:26, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

This may just be coincidence but both Musharna and its pre-evolution have very crescent shaped forms to them. Being the same shape of the moon this may be a refrence to dreems occurring while you sleep at night. [[User:EpicShadow|EpicShadow]] 9:46 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Physiology

May I type a physiology description for it? I am eager to help with the Physiology sections of the Pokémon, but I would like to know if I should wait until the pictures are implemented for them. Perhaps I am simply being impatient...Steph 22:22, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

You're more than welcome to go ahead and do that. You've been doing a good job with the other Pokémon so far. Werdnae (talk) 22:27, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Id like to add that Musharna bears a resemblance to the face in the painting persistence of memory by Salvador Dali. Would this be ok? --Yunophobia 03:52, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

That seems highly irrelevant and is probably coincedental. On a side note, the article states "ovular", when it should be "oval" or "ovaloid", since ovular doesn't actually refer to ovals.--Element03 04:31, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Done. Werdnae (talk) 04:40, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Honestly, it's a fetus, in some non existent womb. I cant believe anyone hasn't seen it yet.Ph4mp573r 15:18, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Come on, Nintendo's not gonna make a Pokemon based on a FETUS. --Reversinator 15:19, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Er, ah....yes. I think it should be changed to "oval" or "ovaloid". I can guess I used the word incorrectly in the description, now. Steph 15:43, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

If I understand correctly, mew is a fetus, there's a few clues that point towards that origin.

Anyways, You've seen the painting persistence of memory correct Element 03? If you have, I cant honestly see how you would think it was coincidental, hell musharna and the face in persistence of memory are almost in the exact same position. Heres a link to the painting on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Persistence_of_Memory. Might I also add that the painting was originally concieved in one of Dalis dreams, and represents how time fades away while asleep? Musharna is a dream eater pokemon, can you not see the relevance?--Yunophobia 00:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Wouldn't Munna be the previous Pokémon in the Pokédex? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 21:31, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

we have to find out munnas number first... (Ataro 21:41, 14 July 2010 (UTC))

I guess, but since Munna is known to evolve into it, then it should be changed. Jello 21:44, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
By saying that I mean that Munna should be put as the previous Pokémon, instead of ???. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 21:56, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry, that's what I was going to do, but the edit didn't go through D: Jello 22:00, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Name

Where does the name come from? Eddie Blake 12:43PM July 15, 2010 (AEST)

It is guessed that mushamusha(ムシャムシャ) is an etymology. Mushamusha(ムシャムシャ) is imitation sound in Japan when it eats something. It might eat a lot of dreams. Sawamular101 14:37, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Origin

...Yeah, I'd say that Musharna obviously has the same origin as Munna. I still think they both have more in common with baku, especially with the recent CoroCoro leak that states their relation to dream smoke and dream worlds probably, there's just no denying that they're based on the baku.

"Musharna, like Munna and Drowzee, is based on the baku, dream eating demons that resembles tapirs." Mudkipchan 04:28, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Snippet that no one else has pointed out but seems obvious to me.

Munna and Family seemed to be based off the Malayan Tapir and the Baku. Note the similarity in pattern between Musharna, Drowzee and the Malayan Tapir. --Mackinz of SoulSilver 23:26, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

"Musharna, like Munna and Drowzee, is based on the baku, dream eating demons that resembles tapirs." ahem...
(Ataro 23:36, 15 July 2010 (UTC))
Malayan Tapir. Ahem. I know the Baku bit was included but was the Malayan Tapir bit? Note the design of Musharna. --Mackinz of SoulSilver 23:44, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
