That's because of the limitations of the infoboxes.. Tina δ 20:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Togepi was never part of Mistys party it was more like TR Meowth then anything she never had a poké ball for it or anything it was just kind of there.
What? It was totally part of Misty's team! --Theryguy512 16:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Did it ever battle?C Is for Cookie
Yea, once or twice. I forget when, though. --Theryguy512 16:49, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

It battled against Ash in The Totodile Duel. Misty sent it out to battle Pikachu, because she knew it would never hurt Togepi. That's the only time I can ever recall it battling (it may have done so in its final episode, but I last saw that about four years ago and my memory's not that great).
And why on earth would you think that it's not part of Misty's team? I can see why people would think Larvitar and Haunter weren't part of Ash's team, but Togepi? --PAK Man Talk 16:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I subscribe to the philosophy that a pokémon only belongs to a trainer if it is explicitally shown to have a poké ball. Meowth, Larvitar, Haunter, Togepi, Growlie, etc. were/are never shown to have poké balls therefore by my logic they don't count as caught.Bobtherandomguy 18:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
You know, Bob, just because they are shown to have a Poke-Ball doesn't mean that they are actually owned by the character in question. Take Brock's Vulpix, for example. It was caught in a Poke-Ball, and yet even HE stated that it wasn't even his Pokemon. Weedle Mchairybug 21:18, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
