Page Structure

The 'dex portion of this page is a rehash of what I'm sure the dex page says about the games. Other than that, should we group new features by generation? I'm not quite sure what to do with this page, because the tag is warranted but the information is pretty complete. I think it's mainly an organizational issue, but I'm not quite sure... evkl 20:52, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

I grouped them - feel free to change it, but it is SO much easier to scan now. Also, the Pokédex page gives good descriptions, but they really aren't the same as what is listed here. I added when and from whom they are gotten in the game (since that is relevant to when the option in the menu appears) plus some duplicate info from the other page. Besides, anime info isn't relevant here, but is on the other page. It's a distillation. :) Jazzmoth 19:21, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Pokétch

Whoa there guys. Okay, so it's not on the Menu. It does, however, replace something directly that was. Is there a way we can compromise, maybe just mentioning it? I think it would be very helpful to have it linked to, at the minimum.Jazzmoth 20:15, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

New Menu Template

I know this sound ridiculously hard, but could some1 make a new menu template? One that looks alot similar to the one in-game? _ShinyPika 22:13, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Sprites

I just realized something. You know how sprites of Pokémon in your party move up and down? I discovered that they move slower depending on their amount of HP left and their status condition. Should we add something about that? — Axxonn_{theAwesometrainer} 23:31, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Other menu options

Are the other menu options such as "Reset" (for a player in the link cable room in Generation I) and "Quit" (to be judged in the Bug Catching Competition) notable enough to be included in this article? --Chickasaurus 15:35, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Reorganization

Does anyone else thing a complete reorganization by Generation, and menu option subsections, would work better? I mean, when someone comes to this page, they're probably going to have a specific game in mind...well I don't know, maybe not. I just think if organized by generation, it would be easier to browse. When each are registered in my Pokémon Black 2 they are called:

• Pokémon List
• Pokédex
• Bag
• Trainer Card
• (Save cannot be registered)
• Options

Ah sorry. I meant Revision as of 08:35, 10 March 2015. I didn't noticed that the newer revision I stated is a mess. Here are some reasons are liked the older:

1. The older revision is not too short. SatoMew2 have removed a lot of information, some are those that are important, such as on how to get the Pokédex entry in Gens 1-6. The latest revision is too short (4,000 bytes), unlike the older revision (21,330 bytes).

2. The "Trivia" section is removed in the latest revision.

3. Alternate name is removed from the latest revision.

4. Older revision looked more aesthetic than the latest revision.

Although there are some reasons that can be fixed easily in the latest revision like 2 and 3 without the reasons 1 and 4, 1 and 4 is still major. If that is not enough, I will try to find more reasons. Thank you. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 02:09, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
