Don't worry about it. We've got some incomplete pages, so I put up the {{incomplete}} template and added some information. Just make sure that you capitalize stats (Special Attack instead of special attack) and types of move (Physical move instead of physical attack). Don't forget to link appropriately. Updated to Gen V?

I was looking over this page because of the "outdated" category it was in. I'm guessing that it needs to updated to include the moves and statistics from Generation V? I was looking for something that needed work and could help me get more familiar with the wikicode. If I'm right about what this article needs, I'll start trying it out. No longer outdated?

I have added all the Gen V moves and updated the statistics of moves that changed between gens IV and V. Is it all right to removed the "Outdated" label? no, it's just explicit; "no status moves included" is just the consequence (hence "notably"))

Those are less direct damage. (Even than a move called by another.) If you want something more explicit: Leech Seed and Stealth Rock will not faint the target as an immediate result of the move being executed. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:12, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

I Anyway, let me make sure I understand your point: basically if it inflicts damage at the end of the turn, it doesn't count? If so, what about Pain Split? To the best of my knowledge, there is no in-game justification that status moves (incl. Pain Split) can "inflict damage" at all (except when they call others). In fact, items like Shell Bell seem to indicate they can't. Nescientist (talk) 23:43, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

Is this page any necessary? It doesn't look like anyone cares about it. When someone is looking for moves by damage it's more natural to check physical damage and special damage on their proper pages.--Rocket Grunt 23:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Two lists are sortable too. I can't image this page being useful when there are pages for physical and special moves, being a category would be enough and looks like no one cares about it anyway. Being snarky doesn't really help either. It hasn't been updated to generation IX and the notice template says it's not even updated for generation VII.--Rocket Grunt 19:21, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

I wasn't trying to sound snarky (sorry bout that), I mentioned a benefit I thought was obvious for you to see as well.

About the page being necessary, I'm interested in what others think. In addition to the one list argument, this page is also used as a link target as to why Aegislash changes forms etc. On the other hand, there's List of moves which is largely similar, so I don't have an opinion really. (Personally, I consider that page a more natural "replacement" than the physical/special pages as you suggested.)

I understand the frustration about the page not being updated, but that by itself should not indicate the page is any less sensible. (I could go on about how Bulbapedia might have these troubles all across the wiki, but that's just more reason to help out and/or motivate others, not reason to trim down on pages to keep maintained.)
