Regarding Japanese Name

I can read katakana. ラプラス is "Rapurasu" ("Lapurasu") so it baffles me as to why it is being transliterated as "Laplace." Someone is thinking "purasu" is "place," which it's not--"place" would be プレイス "pureisu." So, please leave the transliteration as "Lapurasu"--it's where Nintendo of America clearly got "Lapras" from. --Moegi 07:10, 22 May 2010 (UTC) [Edit: Unless someone can show me where Nintendo says it's "Laplace."]

Pokedex entry

Checking the pokedex entry for stadium sounds more like voltorb or electrode to me 'It rolls to move. If the ground is uneven, a sudden jolt from hitting a bump can cause it to explode. ' Would be funny to watch though --Itxi 22:11, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

In fact, that IS Voltorb's entry for Gold version. Apparently, someone got confused. I've added Lapras' correct Gold-version entry now. Dunno if it's the same for Stadium 2. --DarkfireTaimatsu 22:18, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Lapras is coool, don'tcha think?--User:Liz0910

Cloyster Shell

Doesn't the thing on Lapras's back look kinda like Cloyster's shell? --File:Spr 3e 115.gifTheryguy512File:Spr 3e 202.gifFile:Spr 3e 327.gif 01:32, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Mew

If you do the Mew Glitch Method 1# and instead of Youngster, go down to the girl vertically below him and you get a Lapras!File:Ani025MS.gifSonic Pikachu RTP|1#fan File:Ani155MS.gifFile:Ani001MS.gif 08:21, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Hmm......any proof on this??? --Theryguy512 11:55, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
By changing the factors involved, you can get any Pokémon with that glitch. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 19:53, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

According to Serebii.net, Lapras, as well as Growlithe's #s in the dex are changed. Lapras new # is 224, and Growlithe and Arcaniane are 129 and 130 respectively. o_O ***Super!~Nickno 14:47, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
